I am investing it all into the S&P500, I have followed the stock market for a couple of decades, when the S&P500 is down, everything else is down, It represents the United States. For the pessimistic, i know that the economy is bad at the moment, it is a cycle, we have been thru this before and we always come back stronger, if everything fails and society collapses, then stock up on bullets and food, money won't mean anything.
Don't focus on big numbers, that's only to give perspective. For the average population, living with lots of expenses, inflation, high housing costs, etc dropping so much money in an investment is really impossible. However you can buy fractions for little money and grow your investment slowly. You won't end up with millions but at least you will have a good investment to use in your future for anything you want.
