Thank you for good explanation, but i could not find a solution to my issue from the above video, I have created a excel work sheet with the list of months for 2023 and 2024 with 2 columns, how can I arrange the months in chronological order, do I need to clean the data in power query, (if I click new group I see a different screen) appreciate if you could help me.

Ok great video. How do use this if my Power Bi report is used for many companies with fiscal years that can start from January to December?

What if match is fiscal year then u have to choose multiple conditional columns in power query as well as in Dax to reiterate the solution.
Instead u can use edate function for such fiscal possibilities and then sort

When I try custom sort a column containing only the text which is the "month name" using power query, then follow your instruction by going to Add Column and then the Date dropdown selections, all the selections except "Parse" are grayed out. What am I missing?
