- Straight up, I just love #ZenithMMO I was a little disappointed when the game first came out, but like many of the best #MMO games, it just needed some love and attention from the amazing developers before it could truly come to life.
I'm happy to report that on my most recent playthrough, so much has changed for the better, and I can honestly say this game is a must have for anyone who likes MMO's and #vr

Just to answer one of your questions -- a redo of our avatar system to offer more customization and identity is on our todo-list and will come at some point but it's a big undertaking so not sure when exactly we'll get that in

This game has the one thing a game like this needs: The players want the game to succeed. This alone carries it.
The players understand that they can't have everything, but they trust that the devs will make things better, and the devs in turn, understand it and do their best for the players.
Jumping into VR for the first time with PSVR2 and this got me excited to try this game!
What a great starting point! I wish I already had a ps5 so I could justify getting on the PSVR2 train
yesss it always warms my heart to see glowing and honest reviews for this game! because there are pleeeenty of things to criticize, and that's totally fine! but it started to feel like people were just dog-piling on the game without giving it time to grow, or appreciating all the good that was there already! even through the games roughest patches ive played pretty much everyday and enjoyed it nonstop :)
also! i definitely subbed because of this video and its nice to hear how excited you are about growing a small community here! i think you should totally create a discord server if you haven't already! it would be a cool way to interact more with people that enjoy the content you make ^-^

I'm liking the new version a lot too. I am glad I started a new character since it's so different now. Also, it works with the bhaptics vest. When you're flying, the vest vibrates to simulate wind. Subscribed.
I still need to try a haptics vest! I also really want to try the electro-stimulation haptics shirt they were demoing at CES lol.
I'm gonna get back into this in a big way when they release the next class. Do not like melee classes in VR, so that leaves me with ONE CLASS...
This is the biggest issue for Zenith in my opinion. An MMORPG that releases with two classes and haven't release a single new class in a year has kinda misunderstood a LARGE portion of MMO players: The altoholics..
An MMO should have no less than 5 classes, all with their own subclasses. At their current pace there will be 5 characters in Zenith around 2025 at the earliest.... They really, really, REALLY need to add at least 2 new classes in 2023, cause damn!
Such a great game but I just have no reason to play these days because I grew tired of the only class I liked...
I have great hopes for this and Ilysia, but I need them classes.
I would definitely love to see more classes introduced this year! There are 3 subclasses within each class that have different spells so there is at least a little variation. Hopefully there will be many more coming!

Great vid my guy! I've hit 500 hours since launch alone (excluding betas) and this game has truly grown and I have belief of the great things ramen vr can add to this game! I hope more and more people find this game and find as much passion as I do

I'm having fun in zenith. started before the patch with the pets/new opening area/first dungeon. Then I made a sword guy and did the new starting zone.

Yes! Exactly! FFXIV was such a big disappointment they had to pull it from the market for a year and fully redo it before releasing “A Realm Reborn” and now that’s arguably the best mmo of all time. Sometimes it takes a few tries, mmo’s are tricky to pull off and I think these guys are on the right track for sure!

A little late on the comments but I started this game about a week ago and I absolutely love it. The player base on here is pretty awesome for the most part. Hanging out and messing around with friends on here is dope af. The pokemon are cool and gliding is awesome. I'm ready for the 1.3 update.

looks fun i think the only thing holding me back from trying is just having had played WoW (especially vanilla) so much so i'd be concerned about end game content, how the itemization is, class structure (like is it homogenous where all can have a heal like modern wow or are there distinct class differences like vanilla) and then like pvp stuff
maybe you could go on a deeper dive to how it stacks up to other mmos if you do decide to put out more videos on this game
They have raids and dungeons and epic armor and weapons! It doesn’t have quite the same depth as WoW or FFXIV, but they’re improving it all the time. Each of the 2 classes can be Support, DPS, or Tank and they all work a little differently. There are good class guides from some other creators on here!
I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for 18 years. But now I’m hooked on virtual reality and zenith feels the wow void. Of course I am a casual player, so that makes a difference. With the Blademaster, I actually get some exercise. I just can’t go back to flatscreen MMORPGs anymore.

I currently only have VR on PS4, I love this game, it was nice to get back on and find the story and tutorial at the start. Has anyone heard on the release date for the new class yet?
Last I heard they tentatively planned to release it in 2022 so we are overdue!
Absolutely my favorite game. Been playing daily since launch and recently made myself take some time off for the holidays. I have to keep reminding myself there are other VR games 🙂

i saw the trailer for this game when it came out and i thought it was cool but i think i just completely forgot about it, but honestly it seems like that was a good thing since now i can experience this game in a way better state

i had a really hard time getting into the game at launch, just didn't feel super great to play especially as a mage lmao, but i think im gonna give it another shot after watching this
Let me know if you like it better now!! Personally I like the mage better because the spells are flashy and fun to weave.

I loved zenith but I really think the sword class is so boring. Having to wait for the swords to charge up in order to do more than 1 point of damage is really just not fun at all. However, I'm not too sure if they changed any of this
Nope, this is definitely still the case. I couldn’t really get into the blade master either. I just want to go fast but you do no damage that way lol.

has to combat change at all since launch? the main reason I stopped playing is that the combat was boring, really simplistic. also the flying felt like a gimmick that was just added cause population one was had it and was popular.
Other than making things flashier and more satisfying, I think it’s pretty much the same. The gliding is a pretty central game mechanic though! It’s a big part of missions and there are a lot of places you can only get by riding updrafts. But it definitely feels pop1 inspired!

@@FinicSimsTTV facts like I get it making a game is hard work making a new class is hard work but really taking this long to release 1 class and I heard cyber ninja is not the only class coming in my opinion they should had hold off on releasing the game so early and focus on at least releasing 3 or 4 classes when they released the game that way it would had given people more to play around with and money wasn’t the problem because they made way more money than what their goal was I just feel like they rushed the game way to fast and honestly it ended up bad because so many people have left the game and now a lot of people are looking forward to Ilysia because they have actually taken there time with the game I been watching the progress since they first announced ilysia and so many people wrote it off because they said zenith was going to be better but so far what I seeing from ilysia it’s better than zenith but this is my opinion I do hope zenith gets better soon because I get the feeling if it doesn’t ilysia is most definitely going to take all the attention away from zenith and like we seeing with many other games in VR they die out fast and I hope that doesn’t happen because zenith had potential to be great under the right guidance and management team
i just will wait for archage or similars mmo in 3rd person, this type on first person is not for vr, at least is not better that a normal mmo, i prefer go to play wow

any one who thinks this story or lack of, the combat, the crafting, the loot, the encounters, the world is in any way innovative or unique, you need to go play other games. Seriously, there are games that do literally all of this better in every way. Just because its VR, doesnt make bad things good.
I get where you’re coming from, it’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s important to remember this is the very first attempt at a classic mmo in vr. It’s not going to have all the bells and whistles you find in a decades old mmo game right off the bat.
@@FinicSimsTTV Except its not. Orbus has been around longer so to call this the first attempt is inaccurate. Second of all, yeah it wont, But you know what it should have? Is those same decades of experience to not make dumb choices in how you develop. They have had plenty of examples on what NOT to do and what do we have? Generic kill quests, basic story, game components that dont work half the time, etc. You dont get to excuse shoddy work because its 'new' when it isnt even that. Its a weak defense

Idk man, I’m at lvl 24 now and so far the game has played like a completely new game compared to launch.

We did get a badly written backround story and some animals to catch tho.
This game was a let down, I just wanted to wander around and slaughter things like an MMO, solo. Not have a bunch of low iq "Bro. Bro" phase kids running around an empty world "omg dont go in that cave bro" kid in your video is reason PKing should be allowed.
I could overlook that IF the combat was fun and impactful.
But as you showed its a bunch of people spamming attacks, not a slow lumbering beast like SAO

I haven’t played orbus personally based off of the research I’ve done, it just looks a little slow paced for me! Also looks a little too much like rec room for me to get into.
