interesting, how everyone reacts different. I've got a big double cross on my lower arm as a first tattoo and i thought the outlines were more painful than the filling.

I have two that were wildly different. The one on my pec was not really painful but hit a tender spot every once in a while.
The one on my calf hurt the whole way through for 5 hours.

Even I need to go back get more tattoos because I am 28 and I only got 4 done got them when I was 22. Recently I realized screw it I may as well go all out get most what I really like since my thinking on things change at times but still the same mind but only better.

Hi Andri.. Congrats on getting your first tattoo. Definitely ! Right on! now I downvoted this vid because at 6:31 you are giving bad advice (in the scene).. Like if tattoo scene is True Kvlt , then I would hope you'd think about what you are saying. Namely: You choose where you want the tattoo based on where it looks best .. ????not where its "least painful". The pain cost per coolness is earned ,prorated. And then earlier you mentioned that you would do the line first and pay more if you wanted it filled in.. Um Dude.. this is showing you didnt even do much reseerch on this at all. The Liner is going to be more uncomfortable than the shader. So choosing based on how the Liner went .. is sorta claiming the shader is worse? I really wish of all things that you had done just a little pre research on this.. Ok.. well having been branded pierced and tattooed (and allowed apprentices to work on me to help them) .. that I should call this out.. Otherwise I enjoy your channel and look forward for other material. It is your first experience , true. .. maybe you shouldve done a " I'm looking to get a tat episode first so that more solid data appeared on your channel.

I think people choose the placement for their tattoo based on different factors. For Andri, this firtst tattoo was a bit of a "testing the waters" type tattoo. He chose a spot that is supposed to be not that painful to see if he could handle it and possibly get tattooed in places that might be more painful in the future. He trusted his tattooist and talked about his own experience getting this tattoo. If he felt like the shading/filling was more painful than the lining, then that's what he experienced, right? That being said, I have no tattoos (yet!) so I cant claim to be an expert. Cheers!

I always said that a tattoo kinda feels like between a cat scratch and a bee sting, depending on the area. Kinda hard to say that it feels like anything other than a tattoo tho, because its a different type of pain.
