Most of the reviews I've watched look like they are on leveler ground. But the hills you have are closer to the area that I live in. Thanks for the real world reviews
Thanks ! Just ordered one. Can't wait for it to come!
Dual motors, I have already bought them, can’t wait!!
Yes, please do range test using only rear wheel. I want to compare this to the Aniioki A8 pro 60ah ebike. It would also be nice for Wallke to send to you that additional 20 ah battery for testing. Doing so would probably make this product the only 80 ah battery ebike in production; that would be a big deal!
The weird noise happens on many including mine. I think it’s just the spinning of the magnetic parts of the motor like the weight from it. And it’s more notable in the front motor.
@@galacticgalaxyonezerone7235 same on mine
Thanks for another awesome eBike review! - I'm SO glad you're doing more eBikes and such again. I watch all the PEV and Solar stuff, and i really appreciate the effort that you put into the reviews. - I would REALLY like to see a review of the Fabulous XT 60v AWD, the Wired Freedom (new version), and the Amp Rides Volt. You know, if you're shopping around for ideas! :D
Thank you so much for watching! Definitely will be more ebike reviews in the future. Thank you for the suggestions i would love to test out the Fabulous AWD!
Very interesting E-Bike, the dual motors is really a kick in the pants. Agree with you on the power ratings verses the controller specifications, doesn't quite add up. The chattering of the front motor should be addressed, something isn't quite right there. The 60 AH battery could be packaged better to keep from interfering with the seat post but overall I really like it. Thank you for the review.
I miss seeing you do tests like this. Weather and companies offering bikes to review i know are key. Very good info. Got my eyes on this one. Hope to see a Goat Billy Goat or Motor Goat this Year👍
At least the Wallke will be moped speed leagal 😂
Range test please. I have a wallke H6 ST that I bought partly on your honest test. Luv it, 2000 miles and counting.
I will never understand why makers of e-bikes like this at times do not install a freewheel down to 11 tooth . It’s a must to help prevent very fast (ghost) pedaling . The chainring needs to be 52tooth minimum . 56tooth even better . That will give prober pedal assist . Why so many insist on installing these wrong parts confuses me . Other than that , looks to be a good deal for the money for sure. Side note : the controller is to small .. max 1600 watts , no way ..
I just installed an 11 tooth on mine and it makes a world of difference! Why they don't put these on to begin with I'll never know either.
Like the Grizzly.. It has dual 30 amp controllers. Why not do that with this bike but using 60V battery 30ah and another 15 extra somewhere. Put dual 1,000 nominal motors in it.
thats a lot 80AH for an Ebike boy would i love that bike to visit my sister in leeds about 80 miles from my home in the uk.thanks for the great youtube video i learned a lot jeremiah.
Please make a video of the install of the 20ah battery in the down tube. Incidentally I bought the H6s which is the single rear motor version of the bike with a 36ah battery. It has the 1000w rear hub motor & it can reach 33 miles an hour with throttle only. As soon as the battery runs down however you can't continue to hit that speed. This is the case with any ebike. Overall a great bike. Like your reviews you do a great job.
that showz how well the dual moter mode werks uphill
Nice to see you reviewing again. I didn’t find the weight of the bike on their webpage.
Thank you! It’s on there somewhere but not very clear. Kind of have to dig a little to find it? It’s under the specifications tab and the battery weight they have listed on there is wrong as well. It says it’s only 10 pounds.
I think 113 wth single 60ah
I have a Wallke H6 Max and I weigh around 250
I believe something is wrong with that bike that you are reviewing as mine easily can get up to 33 mph
That front hub motor does not sound right. Anyways, keep up the good reviews my friend
The top speed would be less on the H9. The 40 amps is split, 18 front and 22 rear. Your H6 is all 30 (I believe) rear.
The H9 will take off faster, but the top end just wont quite be the same.
Almost ordered but thank you I found this video, that skipping noise would make me crazy, I talked to wallke and they said it is normal , sorry but not normal for me. I guess they have to upgrade controller or just use both motors with the same wattage Thank you for the video!!
Duel motor is the only way to go 😊
Would really like to see a distance test and a follow up on what’s happening to the front motor. 😮
Maybe when it gets a little warmer I’ll try to do a range test but it’ll probably have to do it over a few days! I’ve had another bike make a similar noise from the rear hub motor at top speed but it wasn’t as noticeable as this one and I’ve never had a problem with it so maybe this one won’t either?
If anything goes wrong with it I’ll be sure to make a follow up video!
@@JeremiahMcintoshI think the front wheel is unable to keep up with the back wheel at times and then starts making that noise. It sounds like the front wheel and the back wheel get out of sync and that's why when you let off, then they sync up again. To me it sounds like an issue that Wallke needs to address
I actually emailed Wallke about this front motor “ skipping issue”, they said they aren’t aware and asked for more details. I made reference to the video
Waiting for them to reply I’ll keep u guys posted
That is crazy fun, 😄
I am glad that you are back to doing ebike reviews. I have not seen you do one in a while. Contact Billy Goat V2 ebike and Wired freedom, I would like to watch you review those ebikes.
Thank you for the suggestions! I haven’t reached out to goat ebikes but I did reach out to Wired, unfortunately they were not interested in me reviewing one of their bikes.
@JeremiahMcintosh yes exactly..the Goat v2 vs wired freedom is the battle alot of folks are looking for..my final 2 choices for sure..
I agree 100% my final 2 choices..both are best bikes for 2024..
Jeremiah looking for my 1st bike. I'm looking at the Wallke h9 or the Cyrusher Trax. I intend to go off road on light trails & climb some low hills. Was looking at the Cyrusher Ovia till The Trax was introduced. Now after seeing your review of the h9 i'm lost. Please advise. Best Rgds. Fred
I most definitely want to see an range test!
a*
Another thorough review while keeping it interesting. I have the original H6. The rear shocks only worked if you were pretty heavy...with a 350 lb weight limit on it and no adjustment, one had to depend on the shock absorbing seat post. But with the new one, you've reviewed mentioning a weight limit of 400 lbs, and that the shocks are not adjustable, are they then useful for us 175 lbers? It looked like with the 60Amp battery there wasn't room for a shock post, or it would be out of our 5'8" range. Can you share your opinion...? Now I'm riding an Aniioki A8, 52V/60A and love the long range... But first generation of both bikes have quirks needing attention. Thanks, keep them coming!
I agree with you the shocks on the H6 were a little stiff. These shocks definitely are not as stiff and helps with the bumps a lot better and I’m not sure you would need a Suspension seat post however you could put one in, but you would have to sit up a lot higher and probably wouldn’t be good for someone around 5’8” if you did. Could always get the 40ah one if it was a concern which would make the seat 2 inches lower.
Mine will be here any day now !!! I too will do tests and we can compare
Awesome. Let me know what you think about it after you get it!
@@JeremiahMcintosh it’s rad !!! Checks all the boxes !!!
wow very nice bike i want one
Wow, up to 80 amp hours worth of battery?! That would be the perfect delivery e-bike! If I ever got an e-bike it would definitely be that one.
Yeah it’s massive!
The front and rear motor speeds are not synced. Sounds like one the motors is likely getting pushed/pulled causing the odd noise.
That skipping noise may be slipping of tires due to lack of weight. Add a basket to front with weight to see if this gives more consistency in traction.
Does tire need balancing?
Jeremiah liking two bikes you reviewed with high torque & I was wondering which one would require more maintenance. The Wallke H9 Or the Himway Cobra Pro.
It’s hard to say long term. You could have potential maintenance with the controller or hub motors on the Wallke or you could have some maintenance on the chain and derailer on the Himiway because of the powerful mid drive.
HI love video ..I just got 2 of them for my brother and i .But not togeather yet .. SO do you think the front wheel could need balancing ?also do you have flat out in tires ? do you think flat out can mess with the balancing...?thanks..
I don’t think it’s out of balance and no I do not have flat out in them.
How did you set it to throttle only?
Jeremiah have you reviewed the Aniioki A8 Pro Max 52V Dual Motor? It appears to be a monster. Was wondering about the reliability?
I have been considering reviewing that bike but as of now no I have not.
Please do a range test on the H9
Your thoughts about the 3 e-bikes: Wallke h9, Cyrusher Trax & Ovia. Your preference
Des nouvelle de Wallke pour la roue avant qui saute à une certaine vitesse??
It sounds like your front tire is skipping against the pavement. Like it's about to break traction.
In late January I had ridden four different Wallke H9s. Two 40 amp hour and two 60 amp hour bikes. All 4 performed well and did not experience the front wheel motor pulsing or any sound difference. At 280lbs I was able to reach 34mph on the flat throttle only. I was in the desert so I had more real estate to get to speed. As far as hill climb this where this bike excels. I was also able to test the H6, H6S, H6MAX and the X3. The AWD is the way to go. The torque was amazing. The H9 was a ridiculously fun bike to ride. It was able to perform in all kinds of terrain including deep sand and steep almost vertical hills where the other bikes had issues.
That’s good to know. I don’t know why mine was making that noise but I’ll be reviewing the H7 AWD soon so I’ll see if it makes that noise.
Wallke reached replies to me when I asked em about the noise, they said it could possibly be the brakes that need adjustment ?
@moises1330 it is definitely not the brakes
@@JeremiahMcintosh that’s what I told them, waiting for reply
@jeremiah walke said they were going to reach out to u, to find out more information about that front motor noise
This sounds cool but it is a waist in the long run to have 2 motors at different watts running concurrent.. it may get up a couple of hills better but the battery will drain like a tub and the lower watt motors will be under strain trying to keep up .. I heard from people that those 1000 watt stickers were being put over the 750w markings . I heard this is a 500 front and 750 back bike.. Is that true?
I’d rather have awd and not use than want and not have it
Conservation falls on the user
Options are better than not having any
Bought mine 2 weeks ago
Should be here in a week or so
I like it may buy one for my first ebike. Don't like that skipping sound deal makes me worry it will fall apart.
I emailed Wallke about that noise I’ll keep u posted on what they say
@@moises1330 any update
@@toby2524 none, they said that’s how it is. I decided to go with the wired freedom instead
Do you have recommendations for a rugged through the swamp, pull a trailer, climb steep jeep trail, aggressive off road ebike?
You would probably want something with a big mid-drive motor. This should help you understand the power of a 1000w bafang mid-drive motor ruclips.net/video/tbqMzcIIZSM/видео.html
The front wants to cut out at 28 or X amount of RPM and the rear is up to more i reckon.. So a skipping noise.
💯‼️
Just wondering where your located. Is your his bike available in Canada?
WALLKE will sale H6 max in Canada in about 1 month
The weird noise happens on many including mine. I think it’s just the bouncing around at speed and the suspension shakin the motor.
Did you figure out what was causing the shake on the Wallke H9 AWD? I have the same ebike and it shakes at high speed as well. I can see from your video you were in AWD mode. So was i. I wonder if thats why?
It doesn’t really shake but the front motor makes a weird noise at high speed. I just recently got the H7 all-wheel-drive and it does the same thing? Walkie says that this is normal but I think it’s odd and hopefully it does not cause any issues in the future. I also noticed on single motor mode it does not do it.
@@JeremiahMcintosh thanks for the reply. I just took my first long ride on my H9 AWD and noticed a similar effect your right it didn’t really shake just more of a chatter at around 25mph and didn’t do it in rwd only
It also doesn’t really do it In just front wheel drive or eco mode.
@@JeremiahMcintosh Thanks Good to Know. I enjoy your videos by the way
Range test please
I found out that no lightening bolts on the screen for the wheels means it's in "ECO power mode". It's on page 8 of the manual
Hey is it really 1000W rear and 750W front
@@leonardomohammed5318
Yes, that's what it has.
@@leonardomohammed5318 I replied to this but when I came back to look the reply was gone and I don't know why. Yes it is 1000 watts in the rear and 750 watts in the front.
@@leonardomohammed5318I don't understand why but it seems like some of my comments get deleted anymore for no reason and I think RUclips has something against me and I don't get it.
@@bcm0371 the motors labled by Hentac or Bafang or any company?
Can I charge this bike with 220 volts?
21:00 - I see why the speedometer was off. You have the wheel size set to 24 inch instead of 20 inch. 🙂
20” would be incorrect because fat tires are larger than 20” diameter.
@@JeremiahMcintosh okay but I respectfully disagree. On my eBike I have 20-in fat tires so I set it at 20-in in the settings and then the speedometer was accurate. The 20-in fat tire setting on the eBike is made for 20-in fat tires. You should try it and then compare it with your GPS and see what happens. 🙂
I’ll have to try it on this one but typically when I’ve tried it on other bikes in the past it through the speedometer way off.
@@JeremiahMcintoshI hope it gives you better accuracy on the speedometer but there's always a possibility it might not. It's worked for me and I hope it works for you. 🙂
N.I.C.E. 😂😂🎉❤
1,750w combine.
i want two
Can I have one?
Is the front engine always active? Can it be deactivated?
It can be disabled, I show all the modes in the video
You might want to watch the video. 😀
Can a 5’4 person touch the ground flat footed?
Not with this 60ah version. I showed an example of it with me on it in the video
Do a bike in 60 volt with 60 amp split evenly and I'm a buyer 👏👏AKA a Grizzly but 60 volt
Is this available in the UK?
I’m not really sure. Sorry.
how far will it go throttle only?
Not sure yet I haven’t done that test but going very greatly depending on how many hills I go up.
i am look for new e-bike that can go 25mph and have range of 50miles or more on one charge. since place i want to ride e-bike too is 18miles each way. so need bike that can go 25mph and can go over 50miles or more in range at 25mph also need to hold cargo too.
This 60ah version might be a good option for you then. Depending on how much cargo you have, there is no mount for a front rack on this bike though.
I weigh 390lbs can this bike work for me?
It should it has a payload rating of 400lbs and it’s a beast!
If you do decide on this bike please use the affiliate link in the description and don’t forget to use the coupon code to save $300.
Look in the manual, its eco mode not auto mode
As far as the find my bike it is true unless the key is turned on or the bike is turned on it does not work. The bike is useless unless you can turn it on. You would have to assume that if they somehow were able to get it turned on which can be done without a key you will be able to find the bike.
Correct. It will also work if the battery is in the bike and the charger is plugged in to it even if the key is off. I really wish they would’ve put an alternate battery and so that it would work all the time like an AirTag.

PLEASE HELP: So I bought this Ebike after going through an EXHAUSTIVE amount of research including this video. It was my first Ebike purchase and here’s my issue: WHY IS THERE A PEDAL SYSTEM AT ALL? This does not seem to be a “pedal assist” bike - so why the pedals??? You’re either on throttle only with zero pedal resistance, or on zero power trying to pedal a 100lb+ bike. Is anyone experiencing something different? There’s no exercise with the H9 - just fantastic power and range but no exercise option???
Just keep the pas set to 1 on single motor mode and you should get plenty of exercise. If it’s still too much assisted power, just go in the Advanced settings and turn down each level to whatever % you like. If that still doesn’t work for you sounds like you should’ve bought something with a torque sensor.
@@JeremiahMcintosh thanks for the response as soon as it stops raining I will try this stuff out :-)
Just got this bike yesterday and I agree with you.. The best setting to get an exercise is front motor only and set to PAS level 1.. unless you change the freewheel like he mentioned in the video then you dont get ghost pedaling.
Seem like a great bike for us old timers that need more throttle than pedal
It allows you to tweak it a bit to get some exercise but ultimately for me I’ll be relying on the throttle to haul me along so I can have some adventures during the summer months
Ordered mine two weeks ago
Should arrive sometime in early May
Why would you feature large capacity battery supposed long range bikes and never do range test videos? Seems suspicious. Do you just want the free bike and kick back on coupon codes?
Because this is almost a 30 minute video to begin with and it’s winter time here. Too cold to ride multiple days to drain it.
@@JeremiahMcintosh Yes I know it is cold but the main feature of this 100 pound bike is the battery life. Everything else about this bike is like the 700 other folding Ebikes. I live in NYC and thousands are out there riding 10 hours a day doing bike messenger and food delivery in 12 degree weather tho. . I just can't find any real time range tests on Ebikes with these big batteries and 100 mile claims . Man if they sent me a free 2 grand bike id ride it until empty for a few hours to earn it.
Give him a break dog, the weather is getting better I’m sure he will circle back and post an update
@@technofugit8391 I enjoy his Ebike vids and yes you are right weather was rough to do long range rides . It's just the big battery is the selling point for these heavy bikes. That's the only reason to buy such a heavy bike is distance so it's like going to a steak house to do a food video and only talking about the baked potato.
