Thank you Scrappy for saying "that shit ain't regular"...when kids are exposed to adult practices...it makes them look at things differently, exposes them to things they shouldn't be exposed to at that age and grow up a lot faster than they should!
FACTS and a lot of people totally minimise it when it’s a boy like it’s ok. Still has damaging effects and chances of traumas or having an unhealthy atitude to sex is increased.
The BEST thing about Math's podcast is that Math & his co-hosts actually let the guest start-and-finish their thoughts w/o interrupting! Journalism 101 skills.
The vulnerability shown by Scrappy during that scene will forever be appreciated. In that moment it was mother and child. The way he verbalized his feelings to his mother was honestly brought me to tears. Thank you guys for continuing the conversation. We have to be intentional about doing better. Scrappy thank you for sharing your journey!
I’m so glad he didn’t feed into the comment and laughs when he said it was not that bad. I think so many ppl in our broken communities try to deflect the traumas instead of being real about it. Scrappy was man enough to say, naw that wasn’t normal, and I hope more men and women find the confidence to say that shit ain’t normal when they have these types of conversations. This is what healing looks like.
Niggas ain’t sh!t huh. We should all thrive to get away from black people and get near white and asian people. They have high standards in all things huh. If you ain’t hustling to get white you ain’t hustling right
Smh the fact that these fools think it’s ok for boys to be sexually active is a real issue in our community but props to Scrappy for being a stand up man and letting them know how toxic it is it’s crazy because I just found out DJ Jus had his first child at 15 so In total he has 6 kids by 4 different women this is common unfortunately but yet single mothers get all the heat
Gotdammit.... Serch and now Scrappy. And I know there's a bunch of hip hop legend, big names lined up for 2023...I'm declaring you the David Letterman of hip hop interviewers. Keep up the excellent work.
Did I just “beam with joy” when I saw Lil’ Scrappy on the thumbnail? Yes… Yes, I did. The succession of ”bangers” (outstanding guests) is amazing, and I AM here for it 🙋🏾♀️. Continued blessings from the Middle East 🇧🇭 🙏🏾💞
Proud of you Math, you are staying consistent with this episodes. You are giving us interviews from guests we never knew we needed. Glad to see you tapped in all over and not just NY based. Lil Scrappy was one of my favorite artists when I was coming up. Salute and stay blessed bro🤝🏾💯💪🏾
Can't wait for this episode to drop. Salute Math Hoffa for blessing the masses with dope content and keep rising King. Lil Scrap is definitely a legend in the South. Salute ✊🏿💪🏿💯🔥
Damn , I think every man that lived in the hood as kid brought a stray dog home 🤦🏾♂️😂 I hid mine for 1 day , next day my grandma found him and said he gotta go 😔😂
Shot out my nigga Tiny, only in the hood do you find a damn Shit Tzu roaming the damn streets. We were struggling like a muthafucka, but still took him in.
Honestly This is like therapy for men. YOU have provided a platform for men to express themselves and for others to see that "MEN HAVE EMOTIONS TOO!" That does not make them weak, it makes them human.
Scrap , your family is so beautiful and I really wished we had seen more of your family onL & H. I think they can have their own show. Scrap and the Bam are both smart and talented. Kids are too adorable. He loves his wife. Keep your family together Scrap so happy for you.
4:33 : "he made it better, or worse?" Big up Grafh, that was an excellent question & shows he was paying attention. Big up Math & the whole team too...London UK watching 👊🏿 Can't forget Big Scrappy & Crime Mob either "Knuck if you buck" Still slaps to this day!
Salute to you Math!!! Let this be a teachable moment to us ALL, “The comeback has to be greater than the downfall”- Pun ✊🏾💯 Cant wait til this episode drops
Math Hoffa is the most beautifully transitioned gangstas I’ve ever seen… there is no question that he is about that life, but to see how he has turned trials into triumph shows that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I have such a high respect for him and I’m glad to finally see his success.
Can we just give Math a primetime slot on cable, he deserves it...this podcast has blown up beyond the internet. He's become the Mike Wallace of our culture, people, and generation.
Im in the UK and first time i see Scrappy was in a BMF DVD at a club the way Scrappy and Big Meech looked at eachother i thought it was gonna kick off for a minute lol....Bless up everyone
No lies told I grew up in East Oakland Ca & I had aunt who lived in Fremont Ca.Going to my aunt house I never wanted to leave. Her house was quiet, clean, fridge full & it was upstairs.
I actually saw that scene of Scrappy expressing himself and clicked to hear this dialogue. I used to think me and Richard Pryor were the only people who grew up with a madam in the family. My great grandma ran a whorehouse for over 40 years in the south and was never busted. It tripped me out the first time we went for a visit and I see the different men sitting, the girls coming out in lingerie, taking the men’s hand and leading them to a room. That scene in Lady Sings the blues was real for me. I saw chief of police, the fire captain, football coach, politicians, pastors etc. I saw money in the wall, the Bible, under the mattress, in the floorboards…..The house would be the 1st stop when we got to town because she was there, she had other properties that we slept at so we didn’t have to be there .She had a closing time, they knew if the gate was closed don’t come on the property because she went to the door with her strap. The things you experience in childhood can easily seem normal or traumatize you. I’m sure having a gun pulled on him was way too much. I’m glad he is getting it out, I think he is realizing he needs to acknowledge his experience and what he felt to work through it.
I think Hoffa podcast is low key genius cause it’s a rapper interviewing other rappers an he’s like a different type of rapper so it’s actually pretty unique..
If math keep going at this rate he’s gonna blow past every other hip hop based platform out here . Not saying it’s a competition but he’s been consistent and had some top tier guests . I ain’t heard from scrap in a minute I clicked just to see what he was talking about 😂
Scrap said the A always been the way people think it is now.. and he's definitely right. Growing up it was seen but never told. But everybody always knew.
I like how Math podcast actually talk about real experiences and situations and they have real genuine conversations. But when you go to podcast like Vlad or Adam22, they instigating or try to talk about stuff that could get people locked up
This is why I genuinely FUCK with hoffa, nobody is excluded from this show, im from down south but dont listen to many down south artist, NY and down south always had a love hate relationship in my opinion, but its good to see us getting love from NY we all east coast dudes at the end of the day shout to big hoffa.
I love how you have the southern artist on the show. (I just saw 9th wonder episode. Hopefully little brother will come on.) I look forward to the west coast artist ( I wish NIP was here) You have a great show.
That No Problem song is a massive classic . Ps My pops was a bouncer at The Crazy Horse in Anchorage Ak, I went to my first strip club when I was 13 and observed the psychology so I didn't ever trip of going to The Strip Clubs. Pps My uncle's were Macks/pimps so I have a interesting perspective on that subject. Ppps I recall The Dopehouse across the street got shot and burnt up in 1987
Thank you Scrappy for saying "that shit ain't regular"...when kids are exposed to adult practices...it makes them look at things differently, exposes them to things they shouldn't be exposed to at that age and grow up a lot faster than they should!
😘
Totally different . I totally agree
FACTS and a lot of people totally minimise it when it’s a boy like it’s ok. Still has damaging effects and chances of traumas or having an unhealthy atitude to sex is increased.
Yea that shit ain’t normal at all
Yup happened to me
The BEST thing about Math's podcast is that Math & his co-hosts actually let the guest start-and-finish their thoughts w/o interrupting! Journalism 101 skills.
That has been learned over time cos in the beginning people would talk over guests!
They listened to the comment section.
They also missing essco lol
Exactly...Nore need to take notes😂
@@JerseyNig SAY THAT
Right.!! Fuck drink champs 😊
In all this, he made his feelings known without hurting his mama. They both love each other
I’m so glad he didn’t feed into the comment and laughs when he said it was not that bad. I think so many ppl in our broken communities try to deflect the traumas instead of being real about it. Scrappy was man enough to say, naw that wasn’t normal, and I hope more men and women find the confidence to say that shit ain’t normal when they have these types of conversations. This is what healing looks like.
society knows it’s not normal for women but it’s acceptable when an older woman is mölesting and räping a boy
Strappy I'm glad you said it "your environment creates your standards" and for the black community our standards have been too low for too long!
Niggas ain’t sh!t huh. We should all thrive to get away from black people and get near white and asian people. They have high standards in all things huh. If you ain’t hustling to get white you ain’t hustling right
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Smh the fact that these fools think it’s ok for boys to be sexually active is a real issue in our community but props to Scrappy for being a stand up man and letting them know how toxic it is it’s crazy because I just found out DJ Jus had his first child at 15 so In total he has 6 kids by 4 different women this is common unfortunately but yet single mothers get all the heat

One thing I've noticed in all the interviews is all the guest looks comfortable. The barbershop vibes is real💪🏾
Gotdammit.... Serch and now Scrappy. And I know there's a bunch of hip hop legend, big names lined up for 2023...I'm declaring you the David Letterman of hip hop interviewers. Keep up the excellent work.

I like how Math asked that question to lighten the mood, and made Scrappy open up. I gotta see this one, it's fittin to be a goody

I got mad respect for lil scrappy. He is the only reason I started watching Love and Hip Hop
Wow!!!! I'm so glad that he acknowledges that his upbringing wasn't normal, too many kids are exposed to adult situations and that is truly sad.
1. Scrappy looks good af!!
2. Finally the visuals are coming together
Always been a fan of Scrappy since back in the day. I can already tell this episode is gonna be another classic.
When I seen the clip with him arguing with his mom I said to myself he should come on the math Hoffa's show. I had a feeling this was coming 💯
Damn , I think every man that lived in the hood as kid brought a stray dog home 🤦🏾♂️😂
I hid mine for 1 day , next day my grandma found him and said he gotta go 😔😂

I’m glad Scrappy chose a colorful outfit… gives his personality even more contrast… esp since they were a lot of black on here

Great content, still waitin on David Banner or Killer Mike for a deep interview.
