Apple Zapple Off Ride Footage At Kings Dominion

Apple Zapple, created by Mack Rides, is a wild mouse rollercoaster at Kings Dominion. It features 1,312 feet of track at 35 mph, sharp hairpin turns, and steep drops. August 1, 2001 Apple Zapple was introduced to the public, and it officially opened on March 23, 2002. After undergoing renovations in February 2018, the coaster was renamed from Ricochet to Apple Zapple to fit the "Candy Apple Grove" theme, and it reopened on March 24, 2018.
