I saw a short recently, where they asked Johnny Carson why he never gives a political opinion he would just make clever funny jokes about both political parties on his show. They weren’t mean spirited like some are now. He said famous people who give political opinions do it because they think they are “self important”. I just found that really interesting.
Yeah! No more royalty.
They already won the genetic lottery, and they are rich because of it. Let them eat some reality cake... If they truly want to be an influence and relatable to us commoners at the same time- then they should have a social justice viewpoint. They we're fully compensated with money- they don't get to have influence without conscience.

The only celebrities that I have followed are🌽actresses and actors because I'm so mystified how they were raised in (generally) the same society as I was and are not hung up on all the same inhibitions and still manage to have private lives and private relationships that are successful at a rate roughly similar to the rest of the population. How does male-female relationship work with one of the more intimate acts being shared widely, with an acknowledged appetite for it, even though some of the act is obviously pantomimed/performed?
I would love to see a format of discussion that went over this topic specifically because it is hugely intriguing. How does a "civilian" not suffer by comparison to costar's when the act is of such an intimate nature?

I could care less about celebrities they live in their own world where they think they are above the rest of us and untouchable. yes, i will watch a movie or tv show, but that's as far as it goes. i could care less about their personal lives and what they eat, where they live what they drive .I have my own problems to worry about. Im really to the point where i could care less what any of them do.

Many "celebrities" would agree with you, they would like the job, like the money but like to be able to just go to the shops, go for a pint with their old mates etc. without being constanly bothered. Many have celebrity imposed upon them by the public and the media. they are not by any means the self important people some people like to imagine.
I’ve never cared for celebrities. I had a mad sick crush on Shannen Doherty back in the day, though. 🏄♂️
Hey you two sorry i missed most of the morning podcast. But i will check it out. I will say when it comes to celebrities you have your good ones and you have the worst. I will say actor Tony Todd liked a reply i sent to one of his tweets and ended up retweeted it. And followed me back which was awesome. And i talk with a writer from a tv show who liked and appreciated my thoughts on their show even tho it got cancel. And a actress who like that i gave a positive reponse to her performance in a episode actually reply to my tweet. But anyway I hope you two have a wonderful day. This is so simple . People waych u because ypur real. They aren't. They live in a different reality dont have a clue about real life.
Celebrities were great when they were war heroes, astronauts and cowboys. Now it's ppl without a life playing pretend. Celebrities were real mofos back in the day.
I’m pretty sure you’re talking about legends and hero’s. Celebrities are puppets. Nothing more and they need to remember, if we have not paid to see them, they aren’t what we want to hear. It’s just that simple. I celebrate none of them.
