That came out really well. I did this on my first Terminator and also did it on my current one. This time when I did it I had bought a used set of stingers that had been previously polished so I just needed to touch them up and they came out excellent. Also tired white diamond metal polish and that stuff works great as well. Also used a wool buffing wheel on a drill for the final stage and that works out great.
@@tonysprojectgarage I believe the bassani uses a different kind of stainless steel. I’ve heard the borlas are the easiest and best looking to polish. My bassani is coming off soon for the borlas and I’ll try to polish the bassani and we how that goes
That looks fantastic. I’ve done it to both of my cobras. About the same time invested. I did it that way on my orange cobra and tried the bronze wool method on my red one. The wet sanding is better.
Thanks Justin. I had such great results on my last cobra wet sanding the Bassani that I didn’t want to try something new with the bronze wool. Sounds like I made the right choice. And the results of this one couldn’t be better. I absolutely love the look
Links to all supplies needed for this job are in the description!
Awesome job Tony! I remember you and others tackling this project back in the day. Well worth it!
Thanks bud! Definitely worth the time. When I picked this car up I knew it would be one of the first projects

Thanks bud! Taking extra time for each step yielded an incredible end result. These polished up better than the Bassani on my silver cobra
