Great video. In the past we set up TOF for prospecting with video ads. MOF for retargeting with video ads. BOF....also retargeting (different segments) using a dynamic carousel. Generally as a business we do not continuously run FB ads, when we restarted our FB ads start of Q4 last year, had some people from FB call and suggest this new campaign type. They suggested we use a FB Advantage+ shopping campaign to replace our TOF and MOF, but still use our existing BOF campaign. What is your opinion, when we restart running FB ads, option 1: Only use this new campaign type? Option 2: Use this new campaign type to replace our previous TOF and MOF and also use our BOF campaign which has always provided great ROAS.
Thanks! I’d say it’s generally accepted now that a TOF-BOF-MOF account structure is outdated, so the FB reps are helping there. However, suggesting you have a BOF campaign and a Advantage+ campaign running is overkill. ASC campaigns allow you to target BOF audiences at a defined % cap, so you would simply be hitting the same audience twice with a separate BOF campaign. Plus BOF is already a small audience that sees high frequency, so you'll be very inefficient with your spend. I’d recommend you calculate your business CAC & nCAC for each month last year and then do the same each month you are live this year to compare - you may get a better CAC with ASC when you first launch but you want to make sure it’s not just focusing on your MOF & BOF as these will get used up.
Hey great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge. Can you tell me this about adv + please: I am running a shop with multiple different products. should I just fill one adv+ campaign with ads for all products or create separate adv+ campaigns for the products?
Depends on the products. Group similar products relevant to the same avatar(e.g. basket ball shorts, shoes and tops) with similar AOV together in a campaign.
Did you directly run the advantages plus compagain or once you get good number of sales in manual campaign you will be switching to advantage Plus compagian?
There's no set number, but more is better with ASC campaigns. Try between 10-15 if you have them, the algorithm just won't spend on the one's the AI doesn't think will do well.
Thank you for this video! It’s like a total broad cbo campaign right? My campaign goes very bad right now due to the “bug” of Meta.. I don’t know what to do..just praying 🙏🏼😂
I really need your opinion for this: I sell furniture products online. I plan to create 1 Advantage+ Shopping Campaign PER product category (1 Adv+ campaign for Buffets, 1 Adv+ campaign for mirrors, 1 Adv+ campaign for coffee tables…etc.). … with 3 to 5 ads for each campaign. What do you think about this?
I think the avatar for these products would be the same to be honest, so if it were me I would probably stick them all in the one campaign. If you've watched the video you'll know I wouldn't be doing it in Advantage+ though. That said, there's nothing wrong organising the Advantage+ campaigns the way you are describing with product category segmentation. The only thing you should change is the amount of creative, that's nowhere near enough for Advantage+ campaigns. Start with 10-15 creatives in each.

your videos are high-value, please never stop doing them

I only use ASC for promotions, so in that case I go directly. For the evergreen ads I'm using a manual campaign and never put those ads into ASC.
This content is great. Thank you for sharing it.
No problem, appreciate the support!
Hello I have a question if I want to set up an advantage plus campaign and set the budget $200 a day how many ad creative I should have?

You're welcome and yes essentially it is, but with a different algorithm. Hopefully Meta performance improves!
Im trying to do a catalog feed with asc is that a good idea
Can be, yes
