Hard gel application brush + Clean up brush
This is a very fair video about these gel nails ! Thanks for being honest ! Very informative!
No problem! Thanks for tuning in. 😊
Hi. Nice job! I'm no professional and a beginning amateur! Lol but I have crooked fingers too and I have heard other techs say to line up ur tips to be aligned with ur knuckles. I've found it does help give the illusion I have a straight finger and finger nail when neither are straight in reality. ❤🤣
Watching this while doing my first overlay at home and it helped so much!!! Thank you for this
@@xLunaVellax you’re so welcome! I think I need to film a new one as I’ve improved since. Might be even more useful!
We’ll done! Something I noticed my nail tech (who is amazing at IBD gel on natural nails) use a smaller brush similar to a nail polish brush size and it seems to make for easier application for her 🥰
Thank you. I should try this. Would probably take me all day with a brush any smaller however. 😂
Wow i really enjoyed watching this movie all actors where on top of they're roles you guys did a great job
There is no acting here this is a tutorial 🤣
Nicely done! I always have problem getting that apex right.
It’s not easy. I don’t always get it right. We just need to keep practicing 👌🏾
@@naylitbynay8185 Damn right, doing one today. :)

Thank you so much! 😁🙌🏾
How many layer of builder do you put
I use it as a base so a really thin coat and then following this, two built up layers. You can use a normal base coat instead but then I would still recommend 2 layers of the hard gel. I hope that makes sense.
I just found you today! So funny but our names are pretty much the same 😅 mine is get nailed by Tay! 🥰
How many seconds should be cured after applying builder gel
2 minutes after each layer in a UV lamp. 1 minute after each layer in an LED lamp. 👍🏾
Well done
Thank you! 😊
beautiful. but I'm wondering why you didn't use base coat before the IBD application ? and why base Gell after IBD application ?
Because a thin layer of the product first acts as a base coat. If you do a super thin layer then cure you can then begin to build up the nail. Anything used after isn’t a base coat, I never use a base coat after application - it’s a top coat which is also clear just like a base coat.
I just bought this kit yesterday and you also put base coat in between each layer but not wipe it down. You have to havd that sticky layer. They give you a bonder tho. Ibd has a video as well.
And you're suppose to dip the brush at angle, pull out twist to get rid of the tail then wipe. The product should only be on 1 side. I found it easier to use a Kolinsky brush #8..
Can I use bond instead of primer?
Since it’s gel, that should work too. I however always use a primer 👍🏾
Very gud mam 👌 thnku thnku so much all clear in this video
You’re very welcome! Thank you for watching! 😁
I have noticed my ibd gel remains sticky after curing is there something I'm doing wrong
Are you wiping with 100% Acetone? I always wipe with either 100% acetone or mylee nail prep and polish solution. If you skip this final step it will stay tacky unfortunately.
What speed do you use the sanding band at?
I don't think my efile has the marked rpm against the dial. I'll have to double check. I've never even used it at half the power however if this helps. I always start as low as possible and if I need a little more power, slowly raise it.
