This is a 20 years old song though, and I can still bop to it whenever it comes up❤ I wish you would get into Beyonce’s live performances and see how great of a live performer she is. If you like to get started with something older, I recommend her 2008 AOL’s live session - Me, Myself & I
This sound is from the D.C area if I’m not mistaken- GoGo music. The producer I believe is Rich Harrison. He did a few more compositions around this time for other artists with this big band sound!
Glad you're going on this musical journey. Songs I'd love for you to react to: "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo, "Pick Up Your Feelings" by Jazmine Sullivan, "God Is A Woman" by Ariana Grande, "Cranes In The Sky" by Solange, "We Found Love" by Rihanna, "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish, "Telephone" by Lady Gaga & Beyonce’.
The horns are sampled from "Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)" by The Chi-Lites (1970) ruclips.net/video/4Th2o9l9kFY/видео.html Also, my fave live version of this song is still from the Beyonce Experience Tour.
I absolutely adore your reactions. I would love to see you react to some rare Britney Spears songs. Maybe start with one called "Mona Lisa", the demo if you can find it. there's such a rich story behind that song, she wrote and released it against her labels wishes right at the end of her peak before she married Kevin Federline and it's eerily predictive of would come to be...thank you for your content!
Oh, thank you so much! Yeah, I wouldn't say that I know a ton of Britney songs. I was a bit old to be really into her stuff. But she'd be fun to do on the channel.
Could you please react to Normani music videos Motivation and wild side. I think you’ll appreciate the visuals so much. Normani references this music video in motivation
one thing about beyonce is every album she steps further away from pop songs in general, or from being too generic. after her 3rd album she became 10 times more hands on than she was. comparing her to others would be crazy bc even at her "weakest" it doesnt compare. Bday album has HITs on HITS lol

One thing I will say about Beyoncé, her live performances are always better than her videos. Crazy in Love had some awesome live performances.
Yes, she's a great performer live!
Do your review of This is America Donald Glover
First Time?? Are you sure?
Yep! I kinda had heard a bit of the chorus, but it's the first time hearing the whole thing.
