When she was young she had confidence and control issues where even the slightest monitor or earpiece malfunction would throw her off pitch, and then the embarrassment of it would throw her even further off. Like everything else, she busted her ass to train, learn and grow. For the past 10+ years she has been dead on 95% of the time, which is unheard of, and people accuse her of being autotuned. No matter how many unfiltered, unmastered, impromptu reels and performances you try to show them to prove them wrong they will not accept that she is just that good. Haters just hating.

This song is so sad, My take on this song is that in this song, Gaga is portraying Mary Magdalene like she did in Judas (Another one of her religious songs on Born This Way). She is speaking on how Mary had to watch Jesus get crucified for everyone's sins. Even though she tries to stay strong, it pains her inside. ("I won't cry for you. See, when you're gone I'll still be Bloody Mary") "Bloody Mary" means how Mary feels damaged after the loss of her son. When she says "Free yourself, my love." (Liberate, mi amor.) at the end, she hoped for a second that Jesus would save himself from his crucifixion even if it was against God's will. It hits a nerve.
