    Thank you for the video . It must be amazing to be around all that history . It is hard to comprehend the battle in today's time frame , this was the start of the final battle for Berlin . You must think about all the troops and what they were doing when you make your "Finds" on the battle sites . It is so easy to forget history , thank you for efforts , all the best , stay safe

    Thanks for this special video. Seelow Heights was really the last stand of the German Army. There was no more backing up.. No more maneuvering .The Battle of Berlin was next but was a static battle. Great music as well..

    You have outdone yourself on this video. All aspects of this production have given it the trim and polish of a professional production. Congratulations. I'm proud to be one of your subscribers.
    Have you given any thought of hunting through the streams and rivers in that and the other areas? Over here in the Virginia area a man named Aquachigger does just that with wide ranging results.
    Best regards.

    That they held at all, (3 Days), was a miracle. No matter what side, or political views one might have, it was the soldiers of both sides who paid the price at Seelow Heights. Some even now are reliving it in their twilight years. Excellent video my friend.

    Extremely well done, my friend! Though the Soviets were destroyers of all freedoms, the individual soldiers were brave men, who fought hard and sacrificially for the end of Nazism. They deserve to be remembered and honored. You handled it all with your typical grace, goodness, and fairness. The video is extremely informative and the music and drone footage added so much to it. Well done and thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us. Please keep your awesome videos coming and God bless you and your family!

    History is written by the Victors.
    Discoveries and sharing by enthusiasts like you open avenues of awareness that were previously unknown or at the least, misunderstood, by so many.
    The more I study and observe, the more I appreciate the significance and sacrifice of the Russian people and military in leading to the victory over Nazi Germany.

    Just imagine, you are recording videos and taking photos, but suddenly the time go back in 1945 april. You see everything but nothing see you. You stand at the same place like in the present day. You feel the smoke, you hear the shouts, you see how the soviet troops and soldiers advancing up on the heights. You see how fight german and soviet medics for their mates' lives. And at this moment you go back in the present day, and you still stand the same place like in 1945.
    I know this is a fiction, but what do you feel this after all? Do you continue the metal detecting or not?

    The Russian's paid a steep price in that battle. Almost causing some Russian generals to be dismissed by Stalin. I had read the ferocity from the German soldiers was because they knew what the Russians were doing to the the civilians.

    • @NeilsCave
      @NeilsCave 8 лет назад

      +deadnerves I agree,, but I have to question how many German soldiers at Seelow actually knew what happened in Russia, separate from those units retreating from Russia of course. I think many were defending there homeland from who they still thought were the "evil hordes".

  • @anthonyroberts7718
    @anthonyroberts7718 2 года назад

    The sheer force of the Russians is what won their battles. They had more resources and me and women to overwhelm the Germans. It a very somber location knowing the Germans didn’t stand a chance against such a large number of Russians. The engineering and mobility of these weapons real helped to defeat the Germans. Simple but effective. Very powerful video.

    The vast resources the Russians had, made it to were the Russians could produce their weapons in mass production. This lead to the down fall of Germany as they had no natural resources or fuel to keep their war machine going. So happy to see this location.

    Nice video. Respect to all the poor souls of good men who lost their lives pressed into service. Thankful that good prevailed but do we ever really learn?

    Können Sie einen Besuch empfehlen? Gibt es überhaupt etwas Deutsch ? Ich interessiere mich für Schlachtstätten in Deutschland.
