We've been a 3 cat household for at least 10 years. 3 altered males who got along remarkably well. About 18 months ago, we lost two of them which broke my heart. The one remaining old man had been with us since he was about 5 days old so he has traveled across the United States from one side to the other more than once. I have been campaigning for another cat for a good year and finally 2 months ago someone in the neighborhood decided that after 18 months, they didn't want their little female cat of about 18 months. I was not really looking forward to introducing the two, but this was a match made in heaven! There have been no screaming catfights. They play together well and she has been to the Vet to be altered Tater absolutely adores his little sister Daisy. After bonding housebunnies and cats for 20+ years, this was the easiest introduction and bonding that I have ever had❤ Good luck bonding all of your rescues!

Try to call Haru, Soni & Yuni too. Not always Dami & Bami. PERHAPS the elder cats still feel a bit neglected 😅 Cats are jealous such as people are. It's not only ranking biz. But each cat needs one room/space. Bami & Dami one room together. Be patient. Til now you both did a great job with the cats. 👏🏾

I hope the big cats calm down soon. Especially Yuni, Soni seems fine. Good to see them all, maybe 5 cats is enough now. I don't like to see them stressed. Good job training though.🙂
I'm so jealous when I see people with cats who are really close. Mine have always just tolerated each other, although I have noticed if one is older the relationship can change in the end and the younger one will respect the elder cat. And even though they might seem fine with another cat, you might see a difference in behaviour if the other cat is rehomed, as I thought my cat was just getting mellow with age, but he was more his old vocal self when he was on his own again.

It all seems to show how a social 'pecking order', status, and maintaining respect for these things, are apparently important to cats. Eventually, hopefully, as with Haru, gradual familiarity while ensuring kittens uphold respect for their elders, wins out so that they all harmonise. It seems also that Haru has forgotten he was once himself very much in the position of these kittens! Hope they harmonise soon - it's obviously stressful for the little ones - hate to see them scared. And personally, I think Yuni is more times than not, a total bxxch!
Bami is going to be tough to integrate, if it happens at all. Nothing inherently wrong with that, headstrong cats be headstrong. I have 11, and only half of them get along with each other 😂
Wouldn't Bami and Tami be stressed cause at a young age they already live with three big cats that were foreign to them , who growl and even attack to them all the time?
Cats are extremely territorial, so the adult cats need to get used to the kittens in their space. The owner is overseeing their interaction and ensuring the kittens are safe without interfering with the cats' natural behaviour.
Well, it sure looks like the Empress got out of the wrong side of the bed again this morning 😳 She not only took a swat at Bami and Dami (again), but she freaked out at Haru, too 🙃 What Yuni needs is a good scolding and I don’t know why she is being allowed to attack Dami so meanly, when she is trying so hard to be friends with her. The end result, if it continues, is that Dami is going to turn mean-the same way Soni did, after repeated beatings from Yuni when he was a tiny white kitten.
Yuni isn't nice to Haru so Haru isn't nice to the kittens Concentrate on Yuni Give him & Soni a higher place They need more peace/rest in a seperate room Haru & Damit & Bami will get along then They are all playful It's like in a community The elder, the in-between/middle-aged one and the youngest/kids. They all need their own zone. Some want to take a nap/sleep, others don't need. Change a bit your house. Take some toys away, there are took many big ones. Small ones are better and can be easily taken away. Climbing trees are important.
The little princesses standing their unified ground showing they can give back “energy”. My guess is Queen Yuni has set the tone…so she has to warm up first and Soni/Haru are just following her orders of engagement. I know she has motherly instincts but the princesses are so different from Haru who was hell on wheels when he was young!
