    I like the fact that PPS-43 was designed in a completely sieged Leningrad and it is such a cool piece :)

      @SilverShamrockNovelties 4 года назад +1

      Not entirely true. The factory that made most of the PPS-42 and PPS-43 submachine guns was in Leningrad, but the designers were never there.

    I like the Tokarev line of pistols, but I think you should try to bring some Romain/polish ones with trigger safety’s like the M57.

      That'd be awesome

      My point was I all ready have an m57, but I’d like to also have a polish one for collecting purposes.

    I bought a PPS 43C in 9MM about 7 years ago from you guys. Didn’t cycle well. Double feeding and other cycling issues. Sent it back for your people to look at. You guys found no problems and it still has the same issues. Had an UZI that wouldn’t reset the trigger mechanism before that so I loaded the hottest 9MM loads I could and it cycled great, maybe too great but I was out in the desert with no one around. I am taking the same hot loads out next week to see if they will make this PPS 43 function like it should. Hope it gives me good results or I am going to get rid of it.

    The day a US manufacturer takes up the production of PPSH in a 9x19, as a pisto with a brace option, you will have a WINNER.

    So by pinned and welded, are we talking professional gunsmithing effort, or 5 mins with a dremel?

    • @SilverShamrockNovelties
      @SilverShamrockNovelties 4 года назад +1

      They weld it in such a way as to make it impossible to ever restore it to a folding stock.

    • @CzechoslovakGunStories

      speaking about Vz. 52 the cartridge also pretty much ruined the gun itself... Originally chambered in 9mm was doing so well during the trials... then it was decided it must shoot the 7.62TT cartridge and the gun went from promising to terrible.... :)

    Hey uh Clint, the thumbnail says TCC. Also, you probably had a brain fart, but at 0:32 you said PPSh. It's Sudayev, not Shpagin.

  • @GLUSCKMC
    @GLUSCKMC 4 года назад

    The PPS does have a fold out “brace”. And I could be wrong but I’m pretty certain that it wasn’t just made as a “tanker” sub gun. It was designed and developed during the siege of Leningrad. And what? “You wouldn’t want an AK....” it was made in 1943. The AK wasn’t in service. You guys just guessing in the history of these?

    why is nobody selling surplus mags for these!!!!!!

    • @SilverShamrockNovelties
      @SilverShamrockNovelties 4 года назад

      Because the surplus is dried up. 4 years ago, they were selling them with half a dozen mags included. So there’s no big crates of mags packed in cosmolene to be found.
