My mom is from Bahrain and its a really peaceful and great country ❤️🇧🇭
The government treats their Shia population great. They have a lot of political freedom.
I agree Its one the most peaceful places on planet ❤

Just been here 3 weeks ago before coming to Dammam Saudi … my hotel was next to bab al Bahrain … awesome place and the night life is just amazing ❤ hope you guys loved it Molly and Matt
"Bahrain" by Arabic means two seas ❤️
Okay?
Exactly!!! 👍🏻 💯
"Al - Mamlakat Bahrain" - the Kingdom of Bahrain 🇧🇭 👑.
Bahrain 🇧🇭 - the island by the 2 seas 🏝️ 🌊
Thanks for the info!
@@dabbleandtravel You're Welcome!
I don’t think the name originally comes from Arabic though, because it is an island and isn’t between two seas. The name makes no sense.
It’s probably from a similar semitic language that was spoken in Bahrain long time ago, like Assyrian or Akkadian or Sumerian.
I love your video on Bahrain you guys! It seems a tad bit expensive but the views, souk and marina in Manama all look great. It looks you guys had such a fun and relaxing time in the Al Dar islands. It must've been nice to get a nice, cold beer after so long! Thank you guys!
Thanks so much for watching!
Machboos taste nothing like biryani and it completely different dish with different way of cooking and different spices but Haji isn’t famous for thier machboos that why looked a bit weird, and 12:56 the pavement is so tiny because you’re walking on the wrong side you need to be walking behind the fence 😅
Lol 😂😂😂😂♥️
Beautiful country
Iam from Bahrain 🇧🇭 ❤
Welcome to Bahrain!

I go to Bahrain every year ❤
Amazing!
I spent 5 months working on a Saudi Flagged Ship as an Engineer no drink. Also looks a lot Different than when I was first there in 1977.
Those were the disco days
You should eat biryani without any bread. It's mix of meat, rice & spices. And after eating meat one is not allowed in Indian temple
Have a whale of time in Bahrain
Thanks so much!
you guys are awesome, when are you comming to Kenya?

@dabble and travel..i will tell you a famous joke about bahrain..why is callled bahrain if is not raining there:)))))...just a joke!!...bahrain was part of an ancient kingdom called dilmun..dilmun toghether with summerians from iraq and harappan civilisation were the first "economical hub" of early bronze age...so bahrain is one of the most ancient land in history much earlier then egypt, greek or roman civilasation...safe journey and enjoy your travels!!!
Actually, the very first world's civilizations in the world's history were actually the people from the ancient Mesopotâmia (current Iraq, Kurds Kurdistan and northwest Iran) region... There's nothing related to Bahrain specifically 🧐 😕
That's according to the history books and sciences evidences, of course...
I'm myself former History student (my academic field is Arts History) 👩🏼🎓 🎓, so I guess I know my subject... 🤔 😏

Ya! For only 4️⃣, dude 🙄
@@mikidias if you have breakfast and tea at a local karak shop it will cost less than 1 BD around € 2, and karak tea alone is 100 fils which is € 0.24 so you can actually spend very little money in bahrain if you go to the right places.

Welcome to bahrain
Ah the luxury of the bridge. Back in 1980 there was only Gulf air to travel from Al Khobar to Bahrain - unless……
I had arranged for our 15 year old Daughter to fly Concorde to Bahrain on the day after My wife and I were to fly in from Saudi. I got bumped off my evening flight, but managed a counter bribe to get my wife reinstated. As all flights were booked it was time to think out of the box. Next morning, 6 am I went to the Port where the fishing and sailing Dhows berthed, found one which was taking passengers to Bahrain. Bought a ticket and waited until the ‘Captain’ had enough passengers to make the trip. Flat deck boat, no cover from the blistering sun, squatting alongside fellow passengers who chose this method of transportation (I am being polite here). Halfway to Bahrain the ‘Captain’ announced he was going to turn back unless we all paid him additional fare to continue. Being the only Khawager on board the other passengers looked to me for guidance. They got it, I told the ‘Captain’ that if he wished to return then he could swim for it, as we rather outnumbered him - we continued on our course. Fate then took a hand, as we sweltered in the steamy heat a single cloud appeared overhead, a thundercloud, we were immersed in a 5 minute downpour, now it was us who were steaming. The ‘Captain’ had the last laugh, instead of berthing he went alongside the outside of the harbour wall, we had to jump to cling onto the rocks and haul ourselves up. My ‘cruise’ had taken nearly 4 hours, which was longer than the Concorde flight our Daughter had taken - and she had sat and chatted with a rather well known ‘pop’ group, ‘the 3 degrees’!
Actually traveling by boat was the most commonly way of traveling before the 1980’s
A great promotion for a well deserving Country - well done 👍
Thank you!
I totally agree. Bahrain is 💯 deserving.🇧🇭

Hi…. For your information. I am from Saudi Arabia from AL Khopar city most of the eastern people of Saudi citizens they have a Bahrain 🇧🇭 passport and I am one of them. Thanks 🙏 keep it up 👍

As I said previously in my previous comment before.... The GCC Arab countries policies all around the same way, due to cultural heritage, cultural reasons... Their people, DNA blood race , culture, language, politics, economy, monetary system, laws and religion, etc..., it's all around the same!!
I know Khallijiya, because I've been there already for vacations and even my close friends are themselves Saudi w Khalliji 🇸🇦, so, ya, I quit know them well 👍🏻
Btw.... I speak Arabic (Saudi w Khalliji dialect), so again, ya, I do know Khallijiya quit well actually !!!!!!!

Hello guys. Machboos and Biryani are totally different. Biryani is made with Indian spices, herbs and yogurt. While Machboos is made with Arabic spices. They taste completely different. Machboos is the national dish in Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain. And all of them have different flavors but the taste is nothing close to Biryani
Yeah its actually kabsa...biryani taste better in my opinion ..the flavours just hit differently 😋
Guys, to be honest I was expecting about this video more. You doing great job, but I guess you shall research more about this little country, come back and show really beautiful and interesting places here. I’m living in Bahrain for last 10 years, so can assure you that you missed 90% of real Bahrain.
I will be traveling to Bahrain with my family in about a month. Please give me some suggestions as in where to go in Bahrain. Thank you.
Bahrain is my first home land🇧🇭
How are you doing mrs molly and mr Matt . Iam Arabic lady Saudi citizen and subscriber to several British and American RUclips channels. Actually since 1986 there are connected my homeland Saudi Arabia and Bahrain by King Fahd Causeway, before that date we travel by plane . We in eastern province near Kuwait is very near to us takes only two hours road trip . We in gulf area as Kuwait , Oman , Bahrain, Oman , uae , Qatar have similar accents and traditions and costumes and recipes. Same of Saudi citizens study at Bahrain universities and seek medical treatment too and for tourism too . Actually I considered internet as great opportunity for people to improve their English and learn new information and make friendships with people from different countries. I hope you have great time at Bahrain . Bon voyage best wishes for your dearest ones .
Sorry imean some of Saudi citizens I wrote in hurry.
Hello Molly and Matt I don’t know what to say every adventure are so beautiful the important i always watching you guys that’s wonderful and thank you so much for your hard work take care and always be safe 🥰🥰🥰

I've not been to Bahrain before but I have visited Dubai, Saudi, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar in the Arabian Peninsula. The bay looks like a mix of Singapore, Dubai and Doha but yes it definitely looks like the Marina area in Singapore around the Merlion. The swings are more like the ones on Gili Islands (Gili Trawangan in Indonesia) but yes I've seen swings in the Maldives in the resorts I've stayed
I love your series and classic witty British humour. Your Bulgarian videos were true gold especially Plovdiv and Sunny Beach. Time for a Bansko winter video and ask the government to pay you 🤣 Your Saudi videos were very interesting. Bahrain looks gr8!!
Hahahahaha! That would be good wouldn’t it! Thanks so much for watching!
Great Video! I'm going to Bahrain next month, then taking the SAPTCO Bus to Dammam. Can't wait!
Enjoy!
And now I’m in Bahrain Lol
I am from brazil and when I was in Bahrain I made the same mistake of walking from the souq to The Avenues on that tiny sidewalk haha. Bahrain is the only place in the Gulf where a taxi driver tried to rip me off by charging 10BD from the seef to the souq. But I love Bahrain, I've been twice.
7:53 I did not expect that you would be asked for this price. It might have been acceptable if it was a fake T-shirt for Argentina national team, for example, you had to go to another store and check the prices.
Thank you for these beautiful videos, and I really recommend Iran as a travel destination.

Your most popular video has about 2.5 million views!!! You could easily get quadruple that or go over 20 million views if you VLOG THE FULL…I emphasise FULL WALK , from Najaf to Karbala the beginning of this September or slightly earlier!!! Come on MOLLY and MATT….Be troopers, get yourself a flight TICKET TODAY!!
What's so special about this walk that millions of people would want to watch it?
@@lynnferry291 I sent you a response to your last reply. As for the Arbaeen Walk…It’s INCREDIBLY SPIRITUAL, regardless of faith. It’s the biggest pilgrimage and mass gathering in the whole wide world. But it’s not reported. Last year more than TWENTY ONE MILLION ATTENDED! It would have been more, but some countries barred their citizens from going. It’s a mass of human beings, walking towards the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain( as) who stood up for HUMAN RIGHTS, and got killed for it. The walk takes roughly three days. And EVERYTHING IS FREE!! Free food, drink, somewhere to sleep, wash etc….It’s BEAUTIFUL, because it demonstrates what HUMANS CAN ACHIEVE!! We can all get on, share food, our homes etc to complete strangers!! It demonstrates that us humans are in fact ONE BIG FAMILY! You should go…It’s predominately for Shias, but Imam Hussain ( as) invites THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY.

It is nice to see the Middle East. Its stupid expensive to get there from Taiwan, its cheaper to fly back to Newcastle than it is to the Middle East which is mental! I actually have a sexy Bahrain top (non-fake) and saw them live when Taiwan beat them in Asian Cup qualifying
This is not the real price of beer. Beer costs between 1.7 and 2.5 Bahraini dinars per bottle. Hotels are very expensive
Vegas of Middle East? LOL Where did that come from?
It’s the nickname 😄
@@dabbleandtravel More like a poor man's Dubai.
Bahrain is a relatively "free" country where you can get booze, pork, smoke, etc. normally banned in neighboring countries. Probably got the Vegas reputation because of the weekly weekend exodus of folks across the causeway looking for worldly fun and leisure.
Dubai probably competes for that title, but I think Bahrain is still "freer". Never stayed in Dubai, so my info is 2nd-hand from friends who work there, but I lived in Bahrain for more than a decade.
@@JadeCordova Bahrain is a more folksy version of Dubai. It's also more affordable.
@ryantucker2166 Hmmm, it probably depends on the place. Probably more local/cheaper stuff in Bahrain because of its small size, and the more expensive stuff (like the BD 8 beers) concentrated in the CBD.
Anyway, pretty sure it held the moniker for longer since it's still more liberal and more tolerant than Dubai. But yeah, nowadays the title might be more suited to the richer emirates.
11:56 do you guys also go to stores just about to close? 🤮

14 First of all, keep in mind that the interpretation of a dream or a vision is received through a gift; it must not come from our intelligence. It was through a gift that Joseph interpreted dreams in Genesis 40 and Genesis 41. And it was by a gift that Daniel interpreted the dreams and visions of Nebuchadnezzar and Belshazzar. I'm going to talk here about the different methods of interpretation. I have divided them into three parts. First, there is the standard method. Then, there are the gifts. And finally, there is the perfect will.
