  • A new country in just a couple of days, that's a first for us lol! From Bahrain, we flew to Kuwait City and have a few days here to explore, starting with the best things to see and do in Kuwait. It ended up with us meeting some locals who spent their whole evening with us....it really shows you the kindness of strangers and the hospitality of the Middle East

You shouldn't be wondering why Arabs/muslims are generous and hospitable. This is an intrinsic part of their religion and culture.

Because the west constantly keeps showing the Arab and Muslims in a negative light, it came as a surprise to them. The truth is something they don’t want to show in mainstream media.

the thing that moves in the Kuwait tower used to be a very good idea and used wisely because in the past there used to be a resturant tables where it spins slowly hence why it moves very slowly, they want you to enjoy the view from all 360 degrees while eating and sitting at the table and thats why its slow, so you could eat & drink with no disturbance at all even though youre moving around.

This is normal across the Muslim world - if you are a traveller, expect to not pay for food if locals take you anywhere.

Beit Dickson was the home of former British political agent Colonel Harold Dickson and his wife, Violet, whose love of and contribution to Kuwait are documented in the various archives inside the house. Highlights include a collection of photographs taken during Kuwait’s British protectorate. era, a replica museum of the Dicksons’ living quarters and an archive of Kuwaiti-British relations that dates from the 19th century to the 1960s when Kuwait became independent.

Thank you for sharing your experience in Kuwait. Really enjoyed this vlog. Very smooth genuine coverage and really loved your perspective of things in my country. I do acknowledge that arrival procedures are sometimes harsh, I might say its because of language and cultural barriers of customs officers. Another reason, I think alot of us experienced the same when visiting other countries. But once you enter and mingle with community you notic the difference.
