- A new country in just a couple of days, that's a first for us lol! From Bahrain, we flew to Kuwait City and have a few days here to explore, starting with the best things to see and do in Kuwait. It ended up with us meeting some locals who spent their whole evening with us....it really shows you the kindness of strangers and the hospitality of the Middle East

Well said … second home ! A blessed country
You shouldn't be wondering why Arabs/muslims are generous and hospitable. This is an intrinsic part of their religion and culture.
Because the west constantly keeps showing the Arab and Muslims in a negative light, it came as a surprise to them. The truth is something they don’t want to show in mainstream media.
Hello, I live in Kuwait since 1984 and although I’m from Switzerland , I prefer to live here because of the warmth and hospitality of the Kuwaitis and the fact that it’s so safe to live here. Your doc was very nice but there is a LOT more going on in Kuwait ! ❤
Thanks for sharing!

I'm coming to visit next week. I have never left the USA before. Looking forward in seeing this wonderful place.
@@3toagree80yoo how was your visit?
I'm Filipino American and stopped over in Kuwait City on my way from Asia to London. Loved it there, the locals are so nice. They should get more tourists, such a nice country.
You should see how your fellow Filipinos are treated in that country.
@@marlonelias I'm just speaking on my experience. People have different experiences based on how they carry themselves. Many Asians also experience racism in America but tons also have very good interactions and no issues.
@@kayflip2233 They treat us worse than animals and they abuse us, you can ask your fellow OFW about their experiences.
If you think racism is bad in the US for Filipinos, try going to the Middle East.

The windows of the Kuwait Towers are not dirty, actually they are in the process of getting replaced because the original ones are damaged due to erosion.
Welcome to Kuwait!
I'll be one to say it as I've heard a fair few times over the years about Kuwaits hospitality. And it is amazing to see it here! Since I don't see many comments saying it here Ill be one ofthe first, It's from islam this level of kindness. What an awesome person as well as their whole group!
If the Arab loved you, know that he loved you sincerely.. How generous and wonderful they are🥰
Thank you!
I am 19 now, I am Syrian but I lived in Kuwait from when I was a few months old to 7 years old and I liked the place and I miss it, I am an American in California and I'm proud of that but I would go back for a bit!

There are many soo generous Kuwaiti locals from my neighborhood. I know 4 families helping generously to Africa, Yemen, The Philippines and other Asian countries. They are rich families but low profile and very kind to the needy and are always willing to help to those countries who are in need.
I really enjoyed your first impressions of Kuwait. I spent many many years in Kuwait in the field of construction. The generosity of your new friend was, in fact, very typical and it is good that you shared your experiences. It is a fascinating country and has been spared some of the excesses of its local neighbours. It is a year since I finally left the country and your video brought memories flooding back.

It’s best to visit Kuwait December through February perhaps even early March. When the weather is cooler and you can walk around outside and enjoy walks in Al-Shaheed park.

I wish you come again in winter in October or November is better than summer you will have more activities and I’m sure you will like it 💙💙💙

The universe works in mysterious ways. Right after Matt said that Kuwait was too expensive, you guys met up with a local who invited to a free meal and drinks, and showered you with gifts, which made up for some of the expensive items you paid for earlier. 💰😄
Hahaha! Thats unbelievably true 😅
God is the best of Planner. Allahu Akbar (Allah the Greatest!)
@@mirzasetiyono8919 It's true God is the best planner. But in Kuwait's case, it probably wouldn't have remained free from Iraqi influence without Christian help from the first President Bush.
@@aclark903 Saddam was brought to power by USA in first place and only became useless after losing war to Iran.

I just moved recently to Kuwait. A lot of people say there's a different in how people get treated by your ethnicity.
But during my stay I've met some really kind hearted Kuwaiti people and also people who'd not even reply to my salaam.
So I guess there are good people and bad people which is true for every other country.
You are so lucky because its cloudy ☁️ don’t ever think to visit Kuwait from April to November its like the hell 🔥 you welcome in Kuwait ❤️👏🏻

I’m Indian, was born in Kuwait, moved to London after living in Kuwait my entire life 🇰🇼❤
Why did u leave?
& i assume u did not have jinsiyya al kuwaitiya?
I left becuz I had new work in London with my other office that’s why
@@DmightyzTROOPER what is “jinssaya al Kuwait”?
@MahrusSharif kuwaiti nationality & passport as their is a bidoon community over there primarily post gulf war
@MahrusSharif alhamdulillah, well, im sure u would knw obviously the 3yam & indians have a long history with kuwait since before even the english arrived. Even some احضري kuwaitis of indian heritage have an older presence then some arab kuwaitis from najd backgrounds. i.e there are a number of kuwaiti nationals who were born in saudi & even some whose parents did not originally have aljinsiya kuwaitiya yet they acquired such through was6a.
My father(kuwaiti) knows a guy whose father worked for alsaba7 family yet his son lives in wales & has the offer to recieve jinsiyyah kuwaitiya 'bimaada oula'( which even some arab kuwaitis do not have) i.e he could vote in an election etc. & this man he told me does not even speak a word of arabic or knew of any arabs in kuwait from the original families LOL.
Me myself Working in an immigration office here in I find it fascinating & really strange half the time kuwaitis(citizens) live oustide in Europe in their 2nd homes
How much fun! Wish I knew you guys were going to Kuwait, could have given you a great list of places to go. Try to search places in Arabic, use google translate you will find so much more information. Kuwait has SUPER glam places that would knock your socks off. There are beautiful places outside Kuwait city like Fahaheel. Love Kuwait :)
thank you for visiting my country and complimenting it, a lot of people really don’t care about kuwait. but really thank you👍
That's probably because of the prehistoric views, public services (roads, internet, etc.), and the incest being common there to name a few.

That passport and bag thing happened with me, and I'm Kuwaiti. I'm sorry you had to go through it, and I'm glad you didn't let it change your perspective ♥
It happened with me too. One of the officers was really kind and explained to us that it’s just a check for any suspicious items that don’t appear on the X-ray.
Wow what a great day you had , and such lovely generosity that was shown, but you deserve that as you are both 2 amazing people x x
Simon you’re too kind. Thank you♥️
the thing that moves in the Kuwait tower used to be a very good idea and used wisely because in the past there used to be a resturant tables where it spins slowly hence why it moves very slowly, they want you to enjoy the view from all 360 degrees while eating and sitting at the table and thats why its slow, so you could eat & drink with no disturbance at all even though youre moving around.
glad you guys had fun and welcome to kuwait ❤

Beit Dickson was the home of former British political agent Colonel Harold Dickson and his wife, Violet, whose love of and contribution to Kuwait are documented in the various archives inside the house. Highlights include a collection of photographs taken during Kuwait’s British protectorate. era, a replica museum of the Dicksons’ living quarters and an archive of Kuwaiti-British relations that dates from the 19th century to the 1960s when Kuwait became independent.

Thank you for sharing your experience in Kuwait. Really enjoyed this vlog. Very smooth genuine coverage and really loved your perspective of things in my country. I do acknowledge that arrival procedures are sometimes harsh, I might say its because of language and cultural barriers of customs officers. Another reason, I think alot of us experienced the same when visiting other countries. But once you enter and mingle with community you notic the difference.
Amazing❤
Thanks 😄
