Another great video mate 👍 you’d be better ditching that pan and get a flat bottom. Just dice the potatoes and cook in a little oil and butter if you have any. Pan fry your fish in oil and butter too turning only once plus if it had breadcrumbs then you can cook it exactly the same way but on not so high a heat so that it doesn’t burn on the outside and has time to cook in the middle. You’re a dream to watch mate and I always look forward to watching you. I even tell my wife “I’m not going to lie, it is what it is” ha ha ha! Keep going dude and stay positive like you always do 👏😀❤️

Great video I've been down gaping gill on a winch it's amazing. It's something worth doing once in a life time if you fancy having a go check out gaping gill winch and you will find all the details about it. I remember having ice on my windows in the bedroom as a kid we had proper winters in them days. With ice slides in the playground not allowed now I guess with health and safety but great fun back in the day.
We weren't allowed them back in the 70s either teachers were always putting sand or salt on them same as now soon as kids make a good one out comes the salt

Thanks, yeh he's cool not sure he's a full true beagle he's not so short and plumpt more a bit stretched and fox hound but I love him he's wild though never had him cut so he's full power all the time it's why I've not brought him on more trips

Those follies were all the rage in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Many land owners used to hire a hermit to live in them, provide amusement for the residents and guests. The 'hermit' was often a distant relative, down on his luck and many also had what today would be diagnosed as a mental illness of one kind or another. The buckle should go on the outside so you don't scrape them and trip over. Ask me how I know...
Drain the water away, have a plastic bag with flour, salt and pepper and shake each bit of fish in it. Get some fat or oil hot in the pan. Now put your fish in and wait a few minutes then when the one side is done, carefully turn to the other. The flour and seasoning goes a sort of golden brown and the inside of the fish will be opaque white , not opalescent when its done right through. ,,Well remember ice on the inside of windows and having to get a bath on Sunday night in a freezing bathroom LOL

Put your cooler on to cool the night before! Buy your meat and fish and freeze it before you go, so it stays cool longer...Put a bag of ice or two in the bottom of your cooler...Store the dry goods and tins in a separate box or bag! And yes you would have been better frying fish in breadcrumbs...the breadcrumbs would have protected it from you, you flippin Flip Monster!! ;-) Bev xxx

🤣🤣🤣 I love that you have to open the back door to get music, that’s so random. Pity about the cod n chips. I slice the spuds thin and fry them in a little oil. Also I buy crumbed Hoki (fish) two to a pack. S’pose to bake but with some oil and the heat not too hot, I fry them. If it’s too hot the crumbs burn. A bit of salad n tomato, tartare sauce n yum. 🇦🇺🌻
Hmm tartaric sauce that what I was missing ... hoki I've heard of it not sure if I've had it in Asia.... not sure I'll be cooking fish in the crib for a while after this attempt can still smell it a week later

I done all three in one day for charity. Enjoyed it so much. I went back the following week and done it all again. You can get all four seasons in one day anytime of the year. So hope you don’t get caught out. Uno uno. Some peeps can run all 3 peaks in like 4 hours or something.

Another great video but you seriously need to plug that cool box just when your driving or freeze some bottled water before u leave, if you're planning on doing the nc500 you'll need it cold all the time
Id say get cool box packs freeze them as well as having the cooler on. Once the get soft again and you are neer a wee burn up here stich them in a bag use a tent peg to secure the bag a d leave over night they will be cold enough to put back in

Nice hot pan & Don’t flip fish until it makes a light golden crust , 👍🏻& you can shallow fry breaded fish . Use oil with a nob of butter to stop it burning . Hope this helps 👍🏻😃

next time you want to do the fish you should pre mix some dry batter in a zip lock bag and add some milk or beer when you come to cook, you don't need a lot of oil but a fair bit to cook the fish. Try boiling the chips a little before frying, just until they're a little soft round the edges but not fully cooked, let them dry out or use a paper towel and fry on a lower heat and turn more frequently
...and buy a new non-stick pan! lol...you're using a damn griddle pan for frig sake 🤣🤣
you wanna try getting some heat in to the pan first and frying things instead of slowly burning them lol
Let the fish cook through before you turn it over.
BTW,sheep spend most of their time grazing because there’s so little nutrition in upland grass.
I've never used a ridge monkey , but it might be worth trying chips in foil and same with the cod , with a little oil in the chips turning regular and butter for fish. The fish would only need a few minutes each side.

If you have no oil or you think it’s going to stick then try poaching. A cm of water in your pan just under boiling. Would of cpoked that fish perfect. I even poach chicken breast. Things stay really moist and won’t stick wile sat in a little water. An idea for you mate 👍

Def need a decent non stick SMOOTH frying pan. Will make so much difference cooking and cleaning. Also let the oil heat up so it's really hot then add the meat. 👍

I am Not going to Lie, , i did not go on the Hike this time,. i just went right to the cooking , thanks for the giggle 😂 the Best way to cook Fish, is to lightly rap it in tin foil , and in your case ,just do 15 mins each side in the Monkey , Ohh and when doing chips, you Need a lot more oil, keep er lit,

Just a thought I think you cook the fish 5 minutes each side?I do watch another called epaws a couple who travel in a old van round Europe with 2 dogs .have you thought of taking the dog?on a short walk. not nine miles lol point I was making was they have just hit 50 000 subscribers and has taken them 15 years I think to earn a living doing it and recently opened online shop stickers and sweat shirts and get great pictures with a drone take a look for ideas if haven't seen already .Great walk that one with the caves .latter

the rock is limestone and was formed from the remains of Dead Sea creatures which lived in a tropical sea that covered the area , I dont think it was last week and because rain water is mildly acidic it cuts into the rock and forms caves
use oven chips and fish that smells of fish is probably off

hi ya not long been in your gang, but enjoying your vids. But, what i want to say is that you do loads of your cooking in the car. These gas canisters can give off a lot of Co2!!! have you got a Co2 detector? it can be fatal when you have'nt got plenty of ventilation. I could be wrong, keep up the good work..

I'm sitting at home going stir crazy ..I need a Roadtrip ..was looking on Google last night where to go ,was looking at the lake District ,but from where I live it's a shit journey of motorway and over 4 hrs ..been looking at closer destinations Norfolk /Suffolk, but I need new scenery been there a lot
