I was in attendance and the ovation was amazing, the entire stadium stood up and just didn’t stop which is something I’ve never seen at a willie show...He deserved the ovation and got plenty of love in Houston last Wednesday

Willie is a national treasure. He's one of the most prolific singer,songwriter,performers of all time. I've seen him live several times and he never disappoints.
First time I saw Willie Nelson was Morrison Co Red Rocks amphitheater. It was amazingly life changing for me. The song Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain changed my life. I love him. He is a gift from above and beyond to us. And now the boys singing with him. His lovely daughter sings. I don't think he can be replaced. A red white and blue hero.

Good singer, YES!! National treasure, FOR SURE!. But more than that. He was a good, good man. He took the time and made the effort to stop and personally visit with or greet many, many of his fans.
I’ve always loved Willie going back to the early 70s. Young people don’t realize the feelings that come with getting close to the end of your life. And what a life he’s led. Look at all of the country greats that were his friends that are gone now.
May he remain in good health and continue to do what he loves for many years.

My Dad got me started listening to country when I was barely walking.. He used to sing Seven Spanish Angels and Angel flying too close to the ground. To this day, I tear up as soon as I hear the first chords. Long live Willie!
When you think of all the things this old man has seen, I. E., The passing of his friends, George Jones, Ray Charles, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, etc, etc, then you'll understand why he may shed a tear here and there.

Willie deserves respect from everyone. He is a national treasure and deserves everything he gets. We all love you Willie.
There will never be another Willie. He is a national treasure no doubt. I absolutely love that man with all my heart. He gives so much and ask for so little in return. I’ve been fortunate enough to see him twice and I will continue as long as he continues. This will be a sad world without Willie and you know he must think about his timing often. He lives his life with no regrets and I love him for that.
He has beautiful children that are very talented but Lukas is an exceptional artist that sounds so much like Willie.
Willie if you’re reading this know how much you are loved and how much you have given to all of us. We owe you a debt of gratitude that can never be paid. God bless you and please stay healthy. I was at that concert and it was so emotional for everyone in attendance. I have been to many Willie concerts through the years and have never been disappointed. On another note that was the last concert for the HLSR as they closed it down the next day due to COVID!
Willie is one of the great things about our country.

My husband took me to see Willie at Red Rocks amphitheater. Before Willie came on stage nobody was paying attention to the poor comedian that preceded Willie, everyone talking making noise, then began chanting We want Willie. I really didn’t get it until Willie finally walked out on stage and strummed his iconic guitar just once! All of a sudden you could have heard a pin drop, then he began to sing! Oh my God! Did I get it! It was like a magical moment in time for me. My son who drove Willie in his limo to the stadium, came back and got me and I heard him again in person at Red Rocks again! I will never forget it! ❤️🦋

We took a day off work (back in the 90's), so we could go see Willie in concert. He's always been, and always will be, my husband's favorite singer. We were so humbled when he took time at the end of the concert to shake hands with each person in the audience and sign autographs. When I think back on the other concerts I've been lucky enough to attend, he's the only one that ever did this. Pretty special guy. He brings me to tears with his love of music. Never be another like him. God bless you, Mr. Nelson. We love you.

Back in the 60's I bought an album on Liberty Records by a new-comer named Willie Nelson;the album was "Then I wrote a song"...I was so impressed by Willie,I went out and bought another copy to send to my sister in Aberdeen,Scotland...it soon became one of her favourites as well....in fact my nephew Iain still has it in his collection.

I inherited his record collection and he was a huge country fan all the way in Mexico... the album Stardust caught my eye and introduced me to his music. Since I first heard Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain in a little tavern on the juke box in the 60's late. I have been a huge fan of Willie. He touches my heart and soul. This was lovely very touching. I lost my partner of 46 years 8 weeks ago and this was our very favourite song and I miss so much.
I also lost wife of 46 years in 2019. I miss her so much. I always tear up whenever I listen to Willie Nelson's "Always On My Mind".
I remember the Outlaw era very well. And I've heard him sing "Always On My Mind", in concert 5 times, beginning in 1978!! And each time was magical! Yeah, I'm "old", 72, and Willie's been there, singing for me, for most of my life! And you're right, he's pretty much the last of the "Outlaws"! I wish he could live FOREVER!!

Willie Nelson is awesome. My parents raised me on the classics so I love them way more than todays singers. No offense it's just how I was raised. Most artists today someone can name them I'll say who? But classic as soon as it starts I can name the song or artist.

28 years ago i was a new dad my four pounds of treasure didnt sleep very well so i would load her up in the middle of the night in my 1 ton work rig put willie on the radio go for a drive thru the hood and she would be asleep in minutes we were rockersbut willie was on our minds

Back in 1967, Willie was in concert at the no longer in existence Valley Music Hall, north of Salt Lake City, Ut. That was in his clean-cut, and sport coat days. At the conclusion of the show, the band had left the stage. The house lights were up, and each time the remaining handful of people in the audience would come to their feet for another standing ovation, Willie would do another couple of songs. The man lived to perform. Even after the sound system was turned off. My friend, Keith "Dude" Williams, the MC that night, finally came out to escort Willie off stage. Another night in Pocatello, Idaho, Willie had done his show at the ISU "Mini Dome." After the show, he wanted to go drink some beer. His bus driver took him to the also no longer existing Green Triangle, a bar, dance hall, and restaurant. A beer, or two, later, willie got his guitar from the bus and came back in for an impromptu show that went on until the early morning hours. I think the man would work for free just for the love of music.
