To be frank I doubt the reset thing would work on bungie's end since sony did bought them in order to fix the issues they refuse to fix entirely, this also led to d3 in itself not in development at all since its been confirmed, some say for now or maybe in afew or so years, but its been said its not happening since now their focus is fixing what they refused to fix and what was supposed to be on there, now with desting rising happening on mobile games and with apollo coming out as the same way expansion for d2's prime days for curse of osiris and warmind expansions, this leads using those structures along side the d1 roots as they are going into, but adding newer locations, so no form or fashion in any way d3 isn't goong to happen at all, thats since been long gone and shot down entirely, their focus as I am writing this is d2, marathon and what is left that they are putting together for both of those games on console, mobile devices and pc. Side note there is no reason to start from level 1 and such, none of that bungie has no reason to do such as they call it " asking for to much. " I made mention to 2 people who didn't believe me and they got most of their things nerfed just because they wanted other things to change, so they changed what they wanted but in doing so also effect the person who whined and asked for to much.
No yea, I get the point you're coming from. However like you said, we're at a point of no return. They're trying to fix their old long lasting mistakes that should have been fixed long ago, purely for the fact that the higher up's had too large of ego's. And I remember the whole Destiny "payback"/ D3 thing, I was there when it was unfolding. Tbh the mobile game I highly doubt will bring any attention or life to the Destiny franchise it could do more harm and good and the new expansion I mean it's a mini one like you said similar to the dark below and curse of Osiris type of thing and sure it will kinda be introducing a "brand new game", though I again I doubt it will bring many players back, either old or new. Marathon imo will be a flop, Tarkov is a far better game, just from hearing the feedback that people have been giving back to Marathon. They're also a little late to the genre and they don't have a new player base that's excited (new players overall), and old (either old existing Marathon fans or Destiny fans).
Like a Wipe? I don't thin that's necessary. They're two different games and there wouldn't be much coherence in Destiny if every season/ expansion we had a wipe.
we need destiny+warframe type game expansion. a reset is not the answer. i would not come back with a fresh slate to do the same stuff. i could just make a new character if i wanted to do that.
Wdym? Destiny + Waframe? Warframe barely has any expansions, it's mostly lore, with a new frame and a new activity. And the same syndicate grinding for a new faction all over again.
@@RedzToxic i mean how they expanded on the game itself. in warframe you have player pets, ship interior decorating, space battles, etc. destiny just adds more activities to do essentially the same thing. there is little diversity in destiny. we got a hoverboard and fishing.. like imagine if we could use any of our fancy exotic ships in destiny in a space battle instead of the just being something on the home/loading screen or if they brought back sparrow racing.
@@kodhimac Fair however, that's basically what seasons are. They're like mini expansions/ activities that come every few months and last a decent bit. There was one time in season of the deep iirc, that fishing was added and many people liked it. Though in Warframe it has a different meaning, you need to fish to craft Grendel and other Warframes that need fish parts, which I've done and is the most mindless thing ever. Materials were removed in Destiny to "simplify things" however it only made it worse, since it removed another major aspect about the game. Pets imo idc about, your ghost is kinda like your pet. Ship decorating that I completely agree should be added, and space battles. I have a video that talks about both of those things, but I'm remastering it. But I do see where you're coming from, the game has lots of potential but the higher ups have too large of ego's to "risk" anything, even though it can easily double their money if they allowed the dev's to do whatever the community wanted.

Do what path of exile does, complete refresh each season make the game economy based.
