First things first, your pantry is beautiful! Second, a note about the baked beans: As soon as the sugar is added, they will stop softening. So, if you are finding them tough, try boiling them a little bit longer before adding the other ingredients. 😊

To use up salsa make breakfast wraps! I make ten on Sunday then keep them in the fridge and heat them up in a mini sandwich press to crisp them up when we want one. Fry your egg”omelette style”, place on tortilla, add some salsa and shredded cheese, then roll up and place them in fry pan to ‘seal’ the rolls. We go through a pint jar a week.

Living Traditions Homestead with Kevin & Sarah. Love them. I can't wait to do the ketchup, especially now, that you say it's great. We lost our first two hives. They swarmed. Our third hive made it & we got 81# of honey. Our first!

You could make magnet backed labels or add a long length of Velcro along the front so you can place your labels with Velcro backs in any location without having to move tags you placed under a jar.

double up the soil over the roots of your trees, and then wrap the trunks in the winter. make sure it's something that is water proof. that will help keep the trees from getting to cold when it frosts. some trees will bud again if they are well protected in the springs and you get your fruit that way. problem is most people don't know these tricks to keep plants protected because they've been lost over the years

My Satsuma is loaded this year. I bought a steamer juicer. So easy to make orange juice. Using Ruth Ann's method: no canning needed. I had a lot of pulp left over so today I made orange-banana jam. Oh my goodness! It is delicious! I found the recipe in the New Ball Canning Cookbook. I didn't think I wanted bananas in orange jam.
