What are the chances Scopely removes the option to buy Kang using cores when the Core Spending event starts? Will they really allow us to double dip? I have my doubts!

Same. I forgot it was coming in the moment I saw the orb. But tbh there's a good chance they just remove the ability to use cores the moment the event starts. Wouldn't be the first time they've done that

It's not even good whale baiting since the offers for absorbing man and titania were largely over when the rewards and requirements were shown. They'd make more if they did another round of the $50 8 orbs and 55 shards in conjunction with the event. That said, I accepted some time ago that I won't have enough iso 4 til april or may for baby apocalypse and am content to get kang as a long time fav than compete in the events with krakens.
Well I’ve got a 3 star Absorbing Man from his event, a 3 star Titania from her 675 core orbs and a 3 star Kang from his offer. I’ll take the extra one node rewards but apart from this it’s really laughable they now even disguise offers as events.
If I get it right for spending cores U double dip automatically as you get points for getting milestone points lol... So basically 13k cores will max this out... 26 times 2 (the 2x per core plus the points that gives U added on top)
i was going to buy kang but they changed the offers to these bs ones, why can't they just leave it alone
I think 1 power core will net 4 points.
2 points for the core and 2 points for earning 2 points.
So 12500 cores for the full clear.
This may be wishful thinking.... I don't think it will work that way, because that is convoluted. Then again convoluted is their MO. If it is 12.5k then GREAT because im going to do a fair bit anyways, but I am personally skeptical.

Opened a 5 elite and got Kang at 6 rs 1st pull. Also scopley got even more greedy now wants $60us for 100 shards instead of usual $50
Inflation is rough. There was a shipping delay in Kang shards and that led to the price increase
Hmm I don't plan to spend money but I did hoard a decent stash of cores, should I still open the Kang orbs?

I have 14,000 power cores. I can't work out if it is worth spending those cores to get Kang now or if I should just wait until his release event... I guess I should wait until tomorrow's blog to decide.

During the last Power Core event they wouldn't allow us to double dip. Scopely took away the option to use cores on Absorbing Man... They gave us core offers in the store. I wouldn't be surprised if they take away they option to buy Kang with cores when the event starts.

I bought kang 🙈 100 dollar offer and I pulled a seven red. Only other characters I’d buy are the annihilators mainly beta ray I’m going to max him out immediately

Is this the first patch ever that has not had any character's released by campaign event? Have Scopely officially ended the only release method that was even remotely good for players? This game is done, fuck Scopely.
Correct, this is the first patch in the history of the game without a campaign event. We will find out next patch if this was an anomaly, otherwise they did take away the 1 best thing of character releases in this game.
@Boilon which is crazy since they recently added the "heroic" difficulty, netting more shards. Then they slowly started taking those away to where the event gives less shards than before heroic was released
