One issue, stropping the blade does not sharpen it, it aligns the edge and polishes the blade. You could use abrasive solutions, but you might not get the desired result. Only stones sharpen blades. Not a honing steel, not a strop, but a stone.
I really want to try this type of razor on my own...

do new straight Razor need to be honed, or stropping will make them sharp enough for shaving?
The Gaming Channel you'll have to buy a honing stone as well after a year of use. You can test the sharpness by cutting floss on the edge: if it cuts cleanly, it's sharp, if it doesn't, you'll need the stone.
Can't tell what side you are using because you have it in black and white....

i have a stropp but it has no clip like that just a circle at the end...how do i attach it to anything?
You're a man, I'm sure you can figure something out!
Although, I would recommend attaching a d-ring of some sorts to the wall or sink. From there you can attach something like a carabiner clip to both the strop and the d-ring. Pull it taught and you have essentially the same thing shown in the video.
You could also use some sort of eyelet screw (like the one in the video). It wouldn't be hard to find that connector piece though if you looked for it hard enough.

oh yeah update, the ring is the perfect size as the sink in m,y bathroom so i just put it around that and it works perfectly!
i have some sort of paste but like chapstick like consistency thats supposed top be used for it i guess. i dunno ive only used my razor a handfull of times and i dont think im stropping it right. So ive been using my safety razor in the meantime.

Please fix your voice over to correct the word "sharpen" and change to "hone". You cannot sharpen steel with leather, you're simply straightening the edge in between sharpening. Any self-respecting "man" should be factual.
+Ace Does Well, that shouldn't be honing either. You use stones to hone. What he is doing here with a leather strap (or strop) is stropping.
