Theres no way he didnt work his ass off on this one.
If you loved this one i would also recommend "Techno girl". Their both completely different songs but they do share a lot of uniqueness for how good they are.

This part reminds me of Griffith for some reason and the rest of the song reminds me of the Kushan.
This song is perfect for the final fight between ganishka and Griffith.
I can totally imagine this being Emperor Ganishka's theme. The title itself is almost a perfect analogy for his self-destructive ambition and ignorance of the Kushan people's plight.
i just cant imagine any other music than susumus ever properly representing the feel of berserk, so im glad to join this adhoc ost addition lol

一年前くらいから寝る時にこの曲ながしてるんだけど、気づいたら歌詞全部覚えててびびった。
コスパ良し 冒険をこなした様な

日曜の大阪公演に行ってきて初めて聞いたけどかっこよすぎた
この曲無聞きながら雰囲気がちょっとダークなゲームしてると、なんか面白さが数倍にもなる。
その都市が生まれないという分岐に高いアティドゥーが振り当てられた世界がテーマかな。
レイヤーというのは平行世界を表しているのか...？

Sounds like the battle between Ganishka and Griffith, then the parade of the God Hands, and the return of the city Falconia. Sounds Berserk, end of 4rth arc.
I listened to this while reading chapter 229 around the end of the fight with Grunbeld. The pace in which I was reading fit so well with the song and I was experiencing both the song and the images for the first time so the feels were off the charts. It was a damn near perfect experience that I wish could be implemented into the anime somehow. It's the only way I can read that fight now.
agile maverick straight up, this fits Ganishka’s character and the type of Pseudo-Arabian culture he is inspired by. It’s also a badass sounding song when Griffith and Zodd go up and fly past all his tendrils to get to him when the harps kick in.
@@KuyalawVA Ganishka and the Kushans are actually based on Pseudo-Indian culture and the real historical Kushan (Yuezhi/Tocharian) Empire in Afghanistan and also the real historical figure of Emperor Kanishka the Great of the same Kushan Empire who also styled himself as King of Kings

in the beginning it give off a hint of Dark souls boss theme music. then I goes from Berserk to some undead carnival music, and after that I'm just lost in the music

My first exposure to susumu hirasawa was through berserk 1997 and I am so glad I was able to find glorious heaps of his music on youtube thanks to legends like you.
Same , I was so happy to find out he did all of the music from Satoshi Kon's films as well. I always wondered why the music haunted me in the same way. It's primal , yet elegant
mine was through his music in the film Paprika. I had never watched the name but the Night of Miura's death I was exposed to guts theme, I thought it was one of the most beautiful songs I had ever heard. As I listened on maybe my 3rd or 4th play in a row, I thought to myself that it kind of reminded me of something Susumu Hirasawa would make. I opened the description and it was one of the most joyous moments I had experienced. RIP Miura, RIP Satoshi Kon
Perfect kind of music, for Berserk or Vampire Hunter D. If they make any new anime series or movies.
This song always reminds me of the final part of the Millennium Falcon Arc in Berserk.

音楽の道に進まなかった、もしくはもっと悪い結果をたどった平沢自身の曲って感じがする。曲の終盤で別世界の平沢が来て運命が再編されるイメージ。

I don't see why everyone says this souds like Berserk when it doesn't. It sounds like another original epic piece of composing of the wonderful thing we like to call music.
but i'll forever associate his sound with berserk. there's something about hirasawa's music that just goes really well with that manga. the genius of his music is bordering on the madness of berserk. or maybe it's that feeling of something being just slightly distorted that they have in common.
Takayuki Ikemura For me it actually isn't associated with the 1997 Berserk adaptation in any way. It may as well fit for a battle music for a game.
