@@donnacollingridge5709 this has been a very bad year 1st the 1 and only Hairy Bel ly, Junior Nkuhuma,Ottawa Male, Scarface, so many more but those were the ones that hit me the hardest. Then I wake up to news that the Queen was dead,as I was crying I gave myself a glimmer of hope,maybe they're wrong, maybe they made a mistake in identifying her but that wasn't to be. The 1st time I saw this brave and beautiful girl walking with her auntie and 3 brothers and she looked in good condition.the next time I saw her she was in sa nd and not looking good her auntie and mother died already she was so skinny.i didn't think she would survive. The next few times I seen her she looked in great shapebut I didn't think she had the will to survive. Then she met Nehna and everything changed,in a couple of months she delivered 3 cubs the start of a new pride. However that wasn't to be. After a leopard killed 2 of her cubs she made sure she mmostly was with her last cub, teaching her how to know her enemies and teaching her how to hunt. She was an outstanding mother, a great Hunter IM wondering if she was pregnant and some lions found out and killed her.i am praying that her beautiful sub adultkeep in her mind everything she taught her and that will see her thru, hopefully she might meet up with a lone young female, and they can start their own pride R.I.P. @@fernandoparra2998 I know.I find this so sad.She was doing so well and then this.It seemed like there were always hyenas around her when she caught her food.One thing I can say is she always made sure her daughter was safe from danger and kept her well hidden when she sensed something wasn't right and she trained her how to hunt.From a princess to a beautiful Queen and now she is gone.It's really hard to believe.Her daughter must know something happened to her mom and she must be really lonely.I think about her alot lately and I just pray she meets up with another lioness to take her loneliness away.I really do hope she makes it because the poor Sparta daughter did not.Very tough being on your own.The lone Southern lioness met up with the four Natswhikas boys and now she has cubs of her own growing stronger everyday and protection to.

It's hard to watch... we all had hope that this Lioness would build her pride strong once more, and thrive yet again, especially after loosing some other legendary lions, and lion prides earlier this year. Nature has shown us no mercy time after time, and we must remember that life in the animal kingdom is very different than our own. And with that, we loose yet another magnificent and special specimen that has touched many of our hearts. I wish nothing but the best for our new young queen, and hope she can outlive her mother in years, and biuld a super tsalala pride that her mother, and all of us would be proud of.

I happened to be on RUclips watching the livestream when the radio call came out that a park ranger found a dead lioness on a river bank. He suspected it was the Tsalala lioness cause her daughter was a short distance away calling for her. And he also said the Tsalala lioness was just seen in the area where the dead lioness was found the prior evening. They said they were going to get the lioness remains confirmed. And a little later in the livestream, the ranger announced they had just confirmed the remains were indeed the Tsalala lioness. So at that point, I was just waiting on the official video to air announcing her death. This really hurt my heart! I was hoping to see her continue thriving with her daughter and growing the Tsalala pride. She taught her daughter everything she knew. So babygirl should be able to survive on her own. I just hate it will now be without her mom. 😢

I enjoyed your video very much On the Tsalala Lioness, I and many of us out here watching her grow through her tribulations of a lionesses life sadly I feel that her pregnancy by one of the Tumbela males may have caused her death for she wasn`t receptive to the two plains camp males and in the lions world that is a death sentence that she apparently could not escape. I remember seeing a video this lioness getting attacked by a pride but other than that I don't know anything about her. How old is her daughter? And as usual, the video was well made.
@TheRedPitbull-Mix The lineage of the Tsalala pride goes back to about 1998, and this particular Lioness who just passed was one of two Tsalala's left. Don't quote me on the year of 1998, but from my own research, that's what I found on when this pride had been formed. This particular lion was a litter of 4 and born in 2013. She was sired by the famous Majingalani. Her mother passed away, and her aunt, one of the famous tailess tsalala's took in and raised her, and her three brothers. When her brothers left the pride to become nomadic, horrifically two of them died by electrocution due to a bad weather storm, and down powerlines. Long story short... her aunt ended up passing away, and this lonely tsalala female ended up being all alone. She was dying of loneliness, became pregnant, had a litter of two boys and a girl. Lost her two boys most likely to hyenas, or some other animal. Almost lost her daughter in the fight that you seen on youtube. Successfully raised her daughter to almost the age of three, was just about to have another litter, for she was pregnant. The future was looking bright for this pride.
The carcass was in Singita, actually, and Tsalala junior went east, had to run or was chased, maybe--she's unscathed. Tsalala queen put her daughter's life before her own again, probably. Both PC males actually have scratches--I'm waiting for more images of the Nkuhumas and Manghenis. One PC male has a horizontal scratch on the forehead and a few punctures on the front right paw, and the other PC male has a vertical scratch on the forehead. If they did do it, maybe it was "frustration" when she refused to mate; the PCs are up and coming males who could be next for the Mangheni pride in a relatively safe area--Londolozi and Mala Mala would be much less safe, especially considering that the Ndzenga males may be after Londolozi--one of them might still be there, while the three others are back south, and I think that could be just revisiting as part of patrolling an expanded territory containing more lionesses.
All the two lioness prides are gone or down to one. The Plains Camp males killed two of those who died. They have no pride of their own. My heart is broken.
Guys i would like to know what happen with the Tsalala body. Did you guys cremated or buried? It makes me sad to think she got eaten by other animals. Please guys let me know. I appreciate it.

Her three brothers sharing from her litter became of age and went nomadic, and her aunt and mother being the senior members of her natal pride, died in 2018 which meant she was then left as a lone young lioness fending for herself.
She’s back on her territory down by sand river Londolozie where she will be keeping a very low profile in order to keep safe, it’s a crucial time adjusting to the realisation that her mothers no longer here with her.

I happened to be on RUclips watching the livestream when the radio call came out that a park ranger found a dead lioness on a river bank. He suspected it was the Tsalala lioness cause her daughter was a short distance away calling for her. And he also said the Tsalala lioness was just seen in the area where the dead lioness was found the prior evening. They said they were going to get the lioness remains confirmed. And a little later in the livestream, the ranger announced they had just confirmed the remains were indeed the Tsalala lioness. So at that point, I was just waiting on the official video to air announcing her death. This really hurt my heart! I was hoping to see her continue thriving with her daughter and growing the Tsalala pride. She taught her daughter everything she knew. So babygirl should be able to survive on her own. I just hate it will now be without her mom. 😢

It’s hurt and sadness of the lions and lionesses this year all the favourites lions are pass away in early ages than theirs should be like Ottawa , young Nkuhuma and now my dearest queen Tsalala remember when you posted her fought for her life with Kambula lionesses after she was survived it’s make me so happy she can reunited with her daughter again and I kept looking for her clips almost everyday but now this clip showed she had killed by her own kind it’s so sad that’s lions always kill each other but the worst thing now her little princess was left behind she did roars for her mum to come back it’s a hard feelings things when you lost your love one I’m feel sorry for her and how she will continue her life after her only mum whose beside and fights feeds her before my tears running while I’m thinking of her and her daughter future , please update her daughter news to us and I will always pray for little Tsalala to have and find the happiness in her life and find the pride asap. Yes, an awful year for lions, and going back into 2020 too. I enjoyed watching the videos of Ms. Tsalala, her brothers, and her daughter. Hope we will catch glimpses of her daughter for years to come.
@private , I recall my memory first time I saw her get up and met nhenha after she got 3cubs but after only one left is her little princess I followed her story and both of them became my favourite lionesses 😔😔🦁🦁 but now no more I can’t see my queen Tsalala lioness anymore only hope for the little Tsalala to be grow and find a good protector hope she good luckssss in future my heart aches and still sad that’s we lost our beloved queen Tsalala without know what’s happened and who’s killed her. I enjoyed your video very much On the Tsalala Lioness, I and many of us out here watching her grow through her tribulations of a lionesses life sadly I feel that her pregnancy by one of the Tumbela males may have caused her death for she wasn`t receptive to the two plains camp males and in the lions world that is a death sentence that she apparently could not escape. I will miss her as I miss so many others that have come in and out of our lives my tears and my hopes go out to her daughter now I wish her well as I wish all well TC be SAFE ALL. RA 68 HELL FIRE

I remember seeing a video this lioness getting attacked by a pride but other than that I don't know anything about her. How old is her daughter? And as usual, the video was well made.

@TheRedPitbull-Mix The lineage of the Tsalala pride goes back to about 1998, and this particular Lioness who just passed was one of two Tsalala's left. Don't quote me on the year of 1998, but from my own research, that's what I found on when this pride had been formed.
This particular lion was a litter of 4 and born in 2013. She was sired by the famous Majingalani. Her mother passed away, and her aunt, one of the famous tailess tsalala's took in and raised her, and her three brothers. When her brothers left the pride to become nomadic, horrifically two of them died by electrocution due to a bad weather storm, and down powerlines.
Long story short... her aunt ended up passing away, and this lonely tsalala female ended up being all alone. She was dying of loneliness, became pregnant, had a litter of two boys and a girl. Lost her two boys most likely to hyenas, or some other animal. Almost lost her daughter in the fight that you seen on youtube. Successfully raised her daughter to almost the age of three, was just about to have another litter, for she was pregnant. The future was looking bright for this pride.

It was not witnessed the Plains Camp males were close by to the scene.
The carcass was in Singita, actually, and Tsalala junior went east, had to run or was chased, maybe--she's unscathed. Tsalala queen put her daughter's life before her own again, probably. Both PC males actually have scratches--I'm waiting for more images of the Nkuhumas and Manghenis. One PC male has a horizontal scratch on the forehead and a few punctures on the front right paw, and the other PC male has a vertical scratch on the forehead. If they did do it, maybe it was "frustration" when she refused to mate; the PCs are up and coming males who could be next for the Mangheni pride in a relatively safe area--Londolozi and Mala Mala would be much less safe, especially considering that the Ndzenga males may be after Londolozi--one of them might still be there, while the three others are back south, and I think that could be just revisiting as part of patrolling an expanded territory containing more lionesses.
All the two lioness prides are gone or down to one.
The Plains Camp males killed two of those who died.
They have no pride of their own.

How exactly did she lose her pride?
Her three brothers sharing from her litter became of age and went nomadic, and her aunt and mother being the senior members of her natal pride, died in 2018 which meant she was then left as a lone young lioness fending for herself.

She’s back on her territory down by sand river Londolozie where she will be keeping a very low profile in order to keep safe, it’s a crucial time adjusting to the realisation that her mothers no longer here with her.

I was hoping she and her daughter would go back to their natal home; Ximpalapala Kopie, where all her ancestors had had their cubs before, but, this didn’t seem to be the case. Thanks to all who have seen her daughter and have posted her whereabouts to date.I will be keeping a vigilant eye on her. After all, I kept this up with her mother and while they were together, so, I’m in it for the long haul! I will watch for her and cheer her on, through the good times and the bad, all the way to the bitter end! I hope and pray that our little princess, who now finds herself alone, finds strength, courage and the will to carry on and preserve.
