- Philip 'Fatis Burrell went from gang member to becoming bodyguard to former Prime Minister Michael Manley before becoming the most influential producer of the digital era of reggae. His Rasta faith saw him become the architect and director of the resurgence of Roots Reggae in the 1990s. A movement called the Rasta Renaissance that was led by the likes of Luciano, Sizzla and Garnett Silk

Legendary Xterminator label, RIP Fattis!
Fatis' work made it possible for the message to spread to far reaches of the ghettos on the Motherland...
I remember the 90's take over when xtermitor was the source of consciousness in reggae ,,, it was legendary
I was doing Radio during those years and it was great to have his productions in the mix...So many hits...
Great! Big Producer for reel...Give Thanx.
.
Respect to the legend
Fattis was one of the all time greats just like Bobby digital but even greater to me because he stood for straight righteous music over his production
Salute excellence
His productions were great, he is a true legend

Only record label I could just buy in the record shop without listening first. Everything on that label was top shelf from cocoa tea to Sizzla to Louie culture to Beres Hammond to luciano to Capleton to raas. Top Top producer. Had no idea he had dean Fraser and others on board but it makes perfect sense now. Thanks for your content. I have subscribed
Thanks for watching and subscribing. Blessings ✌️
