Mark you can take some credit for your first post about the Bayswater changes leading them to rethink it. You raised awareness, people wrote submissions and gave feedback so they didn't do what they were proposing. You have got to be happy with that. It's a great outcome. I'm happy it's been changed, would have been bad for those I mentioned orginally. Thanks for the info and this video.
I am very disappointed that they didn't go through with the original route plans to change the 48 (what would have been the replacement for the 48), because that had significantly increased frequency between Morley Bus Station and Bayswater Station (as every second bus would have short turned at Bayswater, making it a much better feeder bus than the 48 (now 40) is. Would have been cheap to run as well, as it is a much shorter length. I am biased though, as i do happen to live in Embleton along the 40, between Morley and Bayswater, and it would have made it way more useful for me. But i guess it must have been for the greater good.
Well the start is still basically Bassendean Station and it's meant to be a connection it's just that there is no way to get to the other side of the tracks easily nearby so it doesn't go to the interchange. But yeah I guess technically it was.

No bayswater bus station it will be open on the Monday 22 of April according transperth app and on the website
