    Nice detailed video v r planning but since I have knee pain what is ur suggestion how can I manage is it too much to walk

    • @AroopBose
      @AroopBose  3 дня назад +1

      Yes sir! Walking is a must whether you are touring Switzerland or any other place. Walking actually begins from the airport itself, but you can use a wheelchair at the airports. When you are on tour you do have to walk quite a lot even if it is a group tour, if you happen to tour on your own walking is even more. I suggest that you first recover from your knee pain and then plan a tour.

    Is there any branch office of SOTC in Hyderabad

    I have one question- My parents are in 70+ and little challenge in walking, so I was thinking to take wheel chair, is that a good option or will be a challenge?

    • @AroopBose
      @AroopBose  2 года назад +1

      I can understand your problem but I am not at all qualified to answer your question, I am an ordinary tourist like anyone else. If you are taking the services of a tour operator such as SOTC other any other, kindly ask them, they are the right people to answer your query. Some tour operators such as SOTC have good experience in organizing tours specially for senior citizens.

    Very Nice explanation. I am planning for Europian Dreams with SOTC. 1. How do we collect SIM. Is that at Airport ?
    2. As per itinerary like Mt Titlis, Cliff Walk, Eiffel Tower (2nd level) lot others are included. Hope we do not need to pay any charge like ticket/entry fee etc for those mentioned in itinerary

    • @AroopBose
      @AroopBose  Год назад +1

      SIM can be bought from the airport of your destination. I buy it in India from Matrix. You have to go to the Matrix site and apply online, the SIM card will soon be delivered to your address. I have planned to travel this summer and I plan to once again buy from Matrix. I have the option of buying from their counter at Mumbai airport if I want to before boarding.
      I don't think you have to pay any extra amount for visiting some of the sites, we didn't have to pay because it was part of the itinerary. However if there is a free day and there is an option to visit some place on that day, then you will have to pay extra. I will give you an example; during our Switzerland trip we had a free day, however there was the option of visiting Matterhorn Glacier Paradise if there were a certain number of tourists wanting to make the trip. Since this trip was optional those who opted for it had to pay extra.
      So have a good trip! Bhalobhabe Ghure Ashoon!

    Can you tell how is sotc n what about food is it good or bad

    • @AroopBose

      I am glad you asked. Our experience was very good. We stayed at 3 hotels for two nights each. At Zurich we were taken to an Indian restaurant for our two dinners, the food was really very good there. I have covered this in the above video. I have also covered in the above video the breakfast we had at Hotel Harry's Home, Zurich; it was a superb buffet. At the other 2 hotels SOTC had their own Indian chef, the dinners at both these hotels were excellent; the buffet breakfast at both hotels was also very very good; please see the other videos in my Switzerland playlist to see what we ate. In our tour package there was not provision for lunch, we had to manage that on our own. The hotels we stayed in were quite plush. Overall we were very happy with SOTC.

    Sir kindly explain how sotc charge per person is it sotc is good to travel

    • @AroopBose
      @AroopBose  Год назад +1

      According to what we have experienced, SOTC charged an initial amount of ₹25000 person. The remaining amount was paid in installments. It depends on how many days in advance you make your booking. If you book early you will be entitled to installments and certain discounts. We have been on two foreign trips with SOTC and we were quite satisfied.

      Those were the pre-covid-19 day. We reached Zurich on 09/05/2019, on 10/05/2019 we visited Mount Titlis and Lucerne. On 15/05/2019 we returned after spending a few hours in Milan, Italy. Since tourism came to a halt during the pandemic I took my time to upload my videos. The experience was really very good.

      Thank you for your comment. Yes sir, I admit that there has been a delay in uploading all the episodes in this series/playlist. I went through a certain tragic event in my life which has set me back. I have planned a total of 6 episodes of this package tour of Switzerland with SOTC which I took with my sister, plus there will be a video on our visit to Cailler Chocolate factory at Broc, Switzerland. The second episode, SOTC Switzerland Tour | May 2019 | Day 3 | Visit to Rhine Falls, Bern, Broc & Montreux | Episode 2, was uploaded on December 15, 2021, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/ERYgC8sj0J4/видео.html, please have a look. The remaining episodes will soon be uploaded one by one.
