Something that I think people should know is that she always took the time to reply on her instagram account to fans who were sharing with her that they were also battling cancer. She always shared words of strength & love with them, and I found it touching to see.
you're right.. even at the lowest point of her life, she could still encourage people and gave strength to them.. not everyone can do that. She was a true warrior with a great empathy ❤

I loved that Shannen did that, spreading hope. She taught me so much about cancer and treatment by following her journey. She was brave to let us in as much as she did.
She made a post recently about what TMZ did… and I comment “oh hell nah we ride at dawn” and she commented on that. YEARS ago.. 2012, I sent her a tweet and said I’ll die if I don’t get a tweet from Shannen, everyone knows I love hollywoods “bad girl” and she replied “no dying my dear!” I wasn’t battling cancer, but she did reply to me. And that literally means everything to me.

My sister tells me anybody I come across you should have your breast removed it will come back three of my aunts and my sister all had aggressive breast cancer they had their breasts removed my stepmom was too late!

I got diagnosed in Dec 2015 and started my treatment in 2016. I remember hearing Shannon also had breast cancer and I wrote on IG page. I remember her saying she read everyone one of her messages. I felt like we were battling together. I had so many complications during my treatment and know that fighting cancer is frigging hard. When we were both in remission, it was such happiness. I have lost friends to breast cancer, and I miss them still till this day. Hearing that her cancer came back and iit was stage 4, broke my heart hearing this. Shannon, such a Beautifully Talented Actress, you were a Fighter and Inspiration for others. You will be Forever Remembered for All of This. You are with your loved ones now and Like Perry. Smile Down on All of Us with your Beautiful Smile.

Saw her at Steel City Con in April 2024. She was so wonderful. It was her birthday weekend. I gave her a birthday card before our photo op. She gave me a hug and said thank you. She will be missed. Will miss her beautiful smile. Rest In Peace Shannen.

@@petejames1326I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to see her. I've always wanted to meet her. Shannen and I were the same age. I'm 4 months older. I remember her when she first appeared on Little House on the Prairie. She was a cutie. I followed whatever she did. When she gave me a hug, I wanted to cry, but I didn't want her to cry. Our photo together will always be with me. She also autographed the photo.

It just didn't feel like she's gone. When someone is still so active in recent years it's just unbelievable. Charm was one of the dramas that I enjoyed weekly in my local TV (I live in Singapore), thats how we spent our teenage years - being entertained by such great dramas.

I loved Shannon on 90210 in 1990, I was starting high school and always loved watching the show. I enjoyed other movies she was in too, liked her acting and always thought she was a genuine person. We'll miss you ! Rest easy ❤
I have watched her since her days on Little House and she was, and will always be one of my favorite actresses, I have myself been battling renal cell carcinoma and it has been her strength to get me through each day. Her podcast has been what has helped me so much as this is a very lonely, and depressing battle and the strength this beautiful woman had will live on in her work, and especially in the true fighter she was. I do not know where my life is going to take me, but I know I'm better for having Shan as someone to look up to.. You will be missed forever, soar with the angels and Luke will be there to welcome you with open arms.

You mean _"Rooting"_ for her. I was wondering what you meant at first. Yes, she went down fighting. Most people with aggressive forms of *Breast Cancer* have to fight to Buy Time to spend with Family and live more to leave behind a legacy that may help others.
A Nurse I follow was telling me that women are still dying from Breast Cancer even Today with all the advancements in medicine. It was worst in the past but promoting "Early Detection" is still saving lives but a lot of times it spreads to other parts of the Body. Travels through the bones and attacks another Organ. The mastectomy, chemo-radiation, Or Natural methods after _Modern Medicine_ removes the Cancer, are just to help fight it to Buy more time, like Shannen's *9yr-Fight*. Cancer does not always go away. It just hides and pops right back up in so many who still die of Cancer later on. It was the Same with Olivia Newton-John *30yr-Fight* and Susanne Somers *23yr-Fight*.

Shannen is the first celebrity I allowed myself to actually feel sad and cry over rather than shove my feelings under a rug. She lived honestly and said what was on her mind. Shannen was a headstrong Aries who never gave up. When I hear she "lost a battle" I can't stand it because Shannen didn't "lose". Her lifecycle sadly came to an end. She taught me and so many others that life is a gift and to not waste time. I'm listening to her podcast and interviews with her and she is really inspiring me to live my best life, opinions of others not mattering.

So so sad. She was so strong! I pray her heart & mind is at peace now, though. My thoughts & prayers are with her family!!🙏 I know this feeling all too well. My mom had a seizure this past February. I had to call 911. Once we got her in the ER she was so out of it. It caused permanent damage where she was confused & the left side of her body was extremely weak. They ran tests & within hours we found out she had cancer in her lungs, liver, kidney, spine, & her brain. The huge tumor in her brain caused the seizure & other symptoms as well. A few weeks later after biopsy results came in we found out it was Small Cell Lung Cancer that had already metastasized. Prognosis was absolutely terrible with only 6-12 months to live & that’s with tons of chemo & radiation treatment!! It’s the worst cancer you can get & it’s unfortunately unbeatable & unsurvivable. Most that get SCLC don’t even know they have it at all until it’s too late & they’re gone. my mom was never the same after that for a seizure. She had no idea what was going on. She knew she was sick but didn’t know the details. I took her home where I knew she wanted to be & she was gone within 2 months from when she was diagnosed. Cancer is one of the worst, most insidious diseases on this planet. It has no discrimination. It affects anyone & everyone. R.I.P to my beautiful Momma & to anyone else that has sadly lost their battle to cancer. To those who are still currently fighting, please keep going!!!! You’re so unbelievably strong & DESERVE to be here!!!🫶💜

I never thought that I would see a person who fought harder than my Mom to extract every single minute of life out of her existence with cancer beating down on her but Shannen was exactly like that. She fought for every single minute she could extract and she lived longer with it because of her fighting spirit. Most people who are diagnosed terminal at stage 4 usually don’t have much time left but Shannen survived for almost 4 years after that and over a decade in total. I am such a fan the comfort is that like my Mom she is no longer suffering and is at peace. I only wish that we had better treatments but I can hope that they are on the horizon🙏🏻👼🥲
Holly Marie Combs also had lovely things to say. She was very close with Shannen, all through the years. Love that friendship. And also Sarah Michelle Gellar! She was close, too.

Our loss is Heavens gain. She was someone to me that stayed Shannon, grounded and honestly a person who you would like to have as a friend. It was as if you had known her all your life. People come and go into our lives and with time we sometimes forget them, she however was one that you wouldn't because of her friendliness and kind gentle heart. I in my 63 years on this earth have lost many people, as l know many others have too. With the passing of growth and time l have come to learn that death is a gift that takes away all the hurt and trials and tribulations that life inflicts on us. Shannon thank you so very much for sharing your talent and life with us, more importantly the bravery you showed us is an inspiration to let us realize that we can and will make it to the other side. And our new beginning is a gift from God, that is well worth the good and bad times we went through while our life played out on this planet. God rest your soul and may you rest in peace.

Shannen was one of the most open people with sharing her cancer battle publicly. She may have had her bad girl era in the early 90s trying to deal with fame so young. She more than made up for any mistakes she made by spending the last years of her life being an Inspiration and comfort to so many. All of us who grew up watching Shannen will miss her. I remember Shannon as a little girl, in elementary school watching 90210. I always thought they were so cool on that show and I liked Shannon. Even through the years with all the tabloid chatter of her so-called "bad girl" image, the press couldn't make me dislike her. This is so sad. She was an Aries and had that fire and passion in her. RIP. No more pain. No more suffering.
