I like your xmen knowledge! Haha Also, Xmen Evolution was my jam back in the day. I stopped reading Xmen too about the same time as you. Too many X books were coming out and wasnt too interested

Thank you. The X-men books were the main ones I read, mostly starting from Age of Apocalypse through the Bendis era. I have since gone back and collected a bunch of books from before that time, but I stopped reading most comics right after Secret Empire ended. The time lost original x-men were still in the present at that point.

Do you think the mythical ability cards eliminate the possibility of getting playable characters like Venom, Silver Surfer and Juggernaut?

I’m not sure. The phoenix force is a mythic card and Jean grey is part of the game so who knows. Ultimately it’s up to the designers. Im pretty sure in marvel champions hulk is an ally card in the base game but then received his own deck on a later release, and characters in Marvel United that were on threat cards are getting added as main villains in Multiverse, so anything is possible.

Mythic cards for missions are perk upgrades, I don’t think they’d exclude the possibility of playable characters! I do think that they’d rather offer a character as an ally card or missions boss rather than having to limit their playable characters to 8 and cut the rest
