In a similar situation where the mesh is used, and the battery cell is also covered with fluid on the top and bottom, should I add the battery cell sidewalls as part of the Cell Wall and proceed as shown in the video? Or, should I create an additional battery body and add a solid body to the geometry, not just the fluid body?
How to apply c rate for cylindrical battery simulation, it will be more helpful if you say about c rate. Or just we need to analyse only heat transfer rate.
The easiest answer would be reading up on manufacturer's datasheet to find IR and do i2r. You could also find ir by using voltage drops when cell is loaded.. Do mind IR changes depending on cell temperature.
@@FrontiersInCFD actually its kind of project like when the battery is on the temperature higher then it's peak temperature then it explodes. Right. , now we have to provide it a water jacket so that it will maintain its temperature. Nd simulate that.
@@FrontiersInCFD Hello Sir, actually I found the error but I'm not able to solve it. I'm making the geometry in fusion 360 and importing in design modeller. But then there are only faces its not showing any surface area or volume. How to create a solid by that geometry? please help
There is no specifications of geat source hear, then how will there be increase in temperature and also how is a battery pack, when there is no battery. Could you please explain?
Here only wall boundary conditions are considered, check out the latest videos, which has simulation considering the Cell wall as a boundary conditions.
From where can i get this model for performing simulation??
Hello sir, can I know from where do i get the model or anything like this for analysis purpose ??
frontiersincfd.in/access-to-geometry-file
At 13:40, how did you get to the graph portion, someone pls explain
In pathlines click on pulse
Thanks . Very much useful
Glad it was helpful!

You can create cell casing and define it. Then apply boundary conditions
Sir make a video on heat generation in battery module with varying C rate. Or problem statement heat generation in battery cell at different C rate
Will Work on it

It was just a thermal analysis, based on temperature generated by cell

Can you also upload a video of thermal runaway simulation for the battery ??
will do share specification for the same

The geometry you use is from a real model or is one invented by you
Reference paper
@@FrontiersInCFD Can you tell me the document with which you worked on those measurements or maybe send me that document?
Sir, could you tell me how can I simulate the heat generation during the charge and discharge cycle?
Thanks
In cell zone use source term and apply heat generation
What did you use for report definition?
Create Line and plot temperature along the line
where can i get the geometry or the dimensions of the geometry
email us
Can you put video about how to draw this battery model design with dimensions

only the cell walls are red. rest all walls are blue after the simulation. What can be the reason?
Check if selection is properly done in animation setup
