I'm from Pakistan and its really amazing to me how much respect is given to great artists in western countries. They are seen as a civilizing force, like a saint. Their right of expression is preserved and their efforts appreciated.
I am proud about my mother as well. She never did any artwork but she said to me: ''why don't you know that I am an artist, too''. And she was right. After she died last year, she is very famous to me. It's obvious that Guggenheim will be too small for both of us.

Monday, September 4th 2023 Today is Labor Day, which means school is closed. My day started just like any other day off, I woke up around 10 am, I had breakfast, and headed to the gym. The training went alright, not feeling especially strong or tired, I was rushing to finish the sets because I was supposed to hang out with a friend and meet her up at around 11:30am. While I was on the way back home, I got a text message saying "Im dying, my washing machine is giving up on me". The friend hinted to me to give her some time to fix the laundry issue, which I am already used to her being late, so no big deal there. She then messages me saying that the clothes are done washing and the door isn't opening. Oh, remember today is Labor Day? which means no one is answering in the customer's service (it is 12:13pm at this point). "Hey, Im air drying the clothes, just let me put them on the rack", she texted. By the time I finally leave my place and step into the elevator, it is already 1:36pm. We then decided to grab food on the way to our destination because we were both starving, we made a stop at Chelsea for some Chinese food, we had dumplings and noodles. Before hopping back on the subway, we grabbed coffee to go, the receipts printed 2:58pm. We got on the A train and hoped that would lead to Central Park, but instead of getting off at 86th Street, I didn't stop. Eventually, the train stopped at 125th Street, while we had to get on the opposite side of the train to get back to where we were going, we didn't realize that we got on the wrong train again until it stopped at 135th Street. Finally, we got to the opposite train and took the C train heading downtown, stepped off the train at 86th street, walked through the central park, and saw the white structure of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum where we were there for the Gego: Measuring Infinity exhibition by 4:18pm.

More like this please! Your youtube shorts are really useless. This video, however, is a great introduction to a great artist and her world. Thank you.
