I love watching people’s different ways of murdering the challenges I can barely do damage in within minutes 😂 one thing I REALLY love about this game is the skill curve. I personally played through my first campaign on easy cuz I just wanted the story experience and the beautifulness and uniqueness of the characters. But I’ve more recently been trophy hunting and since many trophies are essentially locked behind hard mode or doing the hard only challenges I’ve had to get good. At first it was frustrating and I’m still getting better, but I’m going through the full game on hard mode, one chapter at a time, learning the patterns, strengths and weaknesses of each boss and I feel like my skill has grown soooo much. Realizing how deep the combat of this game really is is eye opening and I love it. Initially I tried to get through the dlc once I reached level 50 but then I couldn’t get passed the guard dogs before entering sector 7, with more practice and learning more about the materia builds I easily destroyed them, and beat the dlc on hard mode without dying once! Anyone that reads all this I really appreciate it because I didn’t know what I was gonna say when starting this comment, but I’m in love with this game and seeing the community around it I guess! 😁
I read it all 😁 glad you're enjoying the game and the progress and learning that comes with it. The combat system is an absolute triumph and after all this time I'm still not bored of it. Thanks for taking the time to watch also 👍
Dang , you manhandled Behemoth like a champ 💪🏻! Not even needed to break his horns. That with Marlboro as well , you just braver your way 😅😄 Congrats on this amazing record time run Dowdzy! 😊
Most impressive, especially liked how you ignored the behemoth horn and just went flat out on it for the quick win, gotta try it out. I’m surprised there isn’t more disorder in your rotation though! Clearly you know the game very well having destroyed everything with no damage, but might I suggest an additional technique? Disorder to punisher mode followed up by 1-2 square attacks and then a different ATB attack, triangle out of punisher mode then immediately follow up with another disorder back to punisher mode and repeat everything else. Bonus points for using a different follow up attack after disorder each time with skill master material for additional ATB boost. Even ‘disorder -> basic attack -> triangle to operator -> disorder -> repeat’ by itself is good enough for non-stop damage with Cloud. The switch back to operator mode cancels out most, if not all, punisher mode animations so no need to wait between attacks and disorder chucks you right back into punisher mode. Of course, you may already know all this, in which case please forgive the detail 😂
Wow that's a lot of words! Haha. Thanks very much for the input I appreciate it. I'm very aware of this technique for Cloud and use it often during play, but I sometimes forget in the heat of the moment as per human and whatnot 🤣 I also never refine my clips due to lack of time, meaning what you see is always my first attempts, so as a result there are always things I see after I wish I'd done but I just have to accept it. Glad you enjoyed it all the same, that is the aim after all 👍
@@Dowdzy9999 can totally relate haha, hindsight 20/20, your stuff is awesome as is and the game gives us so many ways to destroy the enemies, yet we’re still on the lookout for even more features and styles. Such a great game
@@mahmoudabduo2785 thanks very much! It's a testament to the combat system that even at this point there's still so much for us all to learn and improve.
Show the character build. Some of it we already know obviously. Gott as accessory, Chain Bangle, Hardedge. Elemental linked with Ice. Refocus. Time as well as enemy skill. But what else?
Hey mate. Can't exactly remember now I should have listed it at the time, but the materia would have been something like: elemental/ice/time/refocus/first strike/skill master/ATB stagger/magic up X2/enemy skill. Then Hardedge, Chain Bangle and Gotterdammerung. Hope this helps 👍
Against targets without any specific elemental weakness, ice spells cause by far the most pressure. It's brilliant for getting targets staggered efficiently.

Thanks man, really enjoyed your Mythril Saber run I love that weapon 💪🔥

Always something new is learnt after watching some good speed runs ✌🏻😇
perfectly timed braver
Thanks a lot! Love braver 🔥
How did you do that? Making both party members disappear
Equip other party members with the enfeeblement ring (gives the equipped character the toad status, effectively removing them from combat)
Can I get you to do me a favor? 😅 Weiss has killed me for the last 13 hours. 😭😂

You're using Algid Aura? Is it really that good?
Wtf did I just watch 😳
why do people prefer blizzard spells over other ones?
