Wish we could change the cursor to a dot. I like the dot better when using a mouse on ios. It looks cleaner and more modern and doesn't really reduce functionality.

tyy,but what if you want to add shapes like a bow on top of the pointer?i have seen people with many shapes of a circle, mickey mouse etc.
If memory serves there used to be ways to do that but Apple has tightened that down in newer versions so that you can only use the in-built options. Honestly I need to go back and double check that but given that’s the case with changing system app icons I think it’s the case with the cursor as well now.

i have bigsur is there a 3rd party app??
These same options are are still in Big Sur, they should be under the Accessibility section of System Preferences

Open the System Preferences App and click the "Accessibility" icon. Once it opens, click the "Display" icon in the left sidebar, then select the "Pointer" tab on the right side of the app. There you'll see the "Pointer outline color" currently set to white and "Pointer fill color" set to black.
