This, Delta Force Urban Warfare, Alien Ressurection probably amongst the best looking PS1 titles that could pass as early PS2 games

Those are definitely some good-looking ones. I’d also add Vagrant Story, Omega Boost (really, anything by Polyphony) and One as a few others that have great visuals.
