this minute and a half scene was more interesting than all of season 4 up to that point. they really should have just stuck with their old characters- who were interesting, complex, had 3 years worth of development and connection to the viewers- and placed a bunch in New York and a bunch in LA and switched between the two places, left Mckinley and mr Shue behind.
