I also love that despite the rough exterior when push comes to shove she goes to bat for the people she cares about with a vengeance, even if she is upset or frustrated with her friends it doesn't stop her from doing everything in her power to protect them.

And then 7 years later it hit even harder when Naya died 😰 just like someone said above, July 13 is now one of the worst days ever. God I miss them both.

Glee was a big part of my teen years (I literally watched it from beginning to end, the same ages of most of the students in season one) and it was because of Naya and her portrayal of Santana. I also realized I was bisexual after I realized I didn’t just like Santana for her wit and insults but also her beauty and her amazing character. She truly was an amazing actress and singer who will never get the credit she deserves. I hope that people will remember her. Because I’ll never forget her.
