did you mean 8.5 inches long on the 2 inch elastic?
Yes I did. Good catch
@@thriftyoperator637 I'm trying to do it right now I'm over here scratching my head like wait a minute lol
@@soldiercoleone Sorry about that. At least the ruler was in the shot haha
@@thriftyoperator637 all good I'm just thankful u made this tutorial haha
Words cannot explain how grateful I am for this channel.
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoy it.
Same here, there's so much awesome stuff here!
@@FN_360 thanks! I’m always open to suggestions
Dump pouch
Haha well be sure your subscribed because that’s what’s posting on the 17th.
Could we get a video on your Thompson sewing machine?
Thanks for the suggestion. I don’t know a lot about it but I’ll keep it in mind.
I don't have a ton of experience with sewing. I started out hand-sewing patches and buttons on uniforms and have mostly figured it out on my own. When I buy a sewing machine, what sort of things should I be looking for?
@@brendandodson6553 I’m probably not the best person to ask. I have only ever used a couple different units. Walking foot is a great feature but it will be hard to find on a cheap unit.
Im just getting into nylon stuff now so i will 100% be making this, but wouldnt it be a better idea to have maybe 3/4 width or 1/2 width elastic? Trying to get birdshot seems easy but there isnt a ton of room. If you try to stick slugs in there that are shorter than birdshot, i'd think youd have a harder time. Not trying to backseat drive, just a though. Love your videos by the way! You've well and truly earned a subscription.
I don’t buy the short slugs so it hasn’t been an issue
Neat video! The piece of velcro that you attach your cards to, how did you attach it to your shotgun?
It had an adhesive backing
I suggest make a second channel for reviews but yes do it bro I'm so happy for this channel you are awesome and I've done a couple of your stuff
Maybe make a placard for your plate carrier that holds your shot cards. Thanks for the video 👍
I’d be interested in seeing a Mav88 review. I’m thinking of picking one up.
Ok cool
I know I’m late but I love mine. I’ve got the slick forehandle/pump whatever you’d call that, and for the price you can’t beat it. Maybe spend the little extra if you dislike the cross bolt safety but it’s instinctual to use a cross bolt for myself
Nice! I been thinking about doing something like this. Your video convinced me now! What pack are you wearing in this video, Mystery Ranch?
Awesome! Yep that’s it
Question: Why not sew the velcro on first before the elastic? Then you wouldn't have to mess around with pulling the elastic loops out the way. Or I could be missing something obvious in which case please enlighten me.
Super appreciate all your content btw, keep it up.
my sewing machine grabs the material really tightly with its walking foot. This damages the hook velcro directly under where I sew so I try not to make too many passes through the middle of the velcro.
Love all the 22LR action you've had going lately
There's definitely more to come.
Ive always been curious what it takes to flare the magwell like the 3 gunners do. Im not sure how much you plan on modifying that shotgun but Im definitely interested in seeing more of it
Unfortunately RUclips won’t let me post videos where I am modifying anything on a gun but, I agree, that is something to look into.
@@thriftyoperator637 I forgot that certain group of people run YT. You can always show the mods after the fact
Do you have an Odysee channel?
@@TheAnimal191 Yeah but it just mirrors the RUclips. I haven’t made any content specifically for that platform
@@TheAnimal191 for sure
awesome idea with elastic i used straight nylon web on the finger pull ... well done cheers times three
Thanks
