It's really refreshing to see a realistic video about language learning, not "How I learned ___ in THIRTY DAYS"
    Thanks for the good content!!

I have been taking Japanese lessons on italki with my sensei for almost four years now. Communicating with someone who will correct your mistakes makes an incredible difference. And now that I'll be going to Japan for the first time in March (😊), I don't feel nearly as nervous as I would had I studied on my own.

I've been learning for 3 months now, and I'm nervous to go on Italki lol but seeing you progress in this video from the first lesson to the latest, gave me more courage.

Ok you have officially convinced me to take some speaking only classes. I have been studying for about 14 months now and almost finished N4 grammar but I have barely been speaking and now living in Japan I need to improve quickly.

    私も英語を学んでいた時、間違ったまま使っていた言葉もあってとっても恥ずかしい思いをした事が何回かあります笑
    日本語はひらがなとカタカナと漢字があるので覚えるの大変ですよね😿

    話すのが上手になっていくのがよく分かります。特に、日本に来てからの進歩(しんぽ)がすばらしいです。
    5:35 「(日本に来る)夢が(ついに)かないました。」が自然(しぜん)だと思います。
かないます dictionary form かなう meaning "to be granted/fulfilled"
    「かなう」は、「恋(こい)/願い(ねがい)/望み(のぞみ)がかなう」などと言う時にも使います。

I've used Italki for a while and I think it's useless, a waste of time. Its very hard to get a really good grammar knowledgeable teacher to explain why your wrong in your conversations. Remember, your talking to native Japanese who mostly cannot communicate the grammar. And Italki is expensive for that good teacher, so its not very good in my experience. Hard to find good teachers who know how to teach and when you do find, it's expensive. To talk to cute Japanese's girls, sure, but thats about all. Just my experience.
