Thanks for posting the Bosko cartoons. I remember watching these as a kid but nobody I know remembers Bosko. I particularly remember this cartoon when Bosko is eating the sandwich and says "this sure is fine".
5:58 I've seen something like that in alot of old and sometimes modern cartoons The guy will whisper something to the girl and she will either A: giggle to it, B: be offended by it, or C, the most common one, Slap the guy My question is, WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES HE SAY???
Remember Tiny Toons? Remember the episode where Babs is looking for her mentor? Remember “if you watch it, you will find her?” I never knew Bosko and Honey were real until now and this is the greatest day of my life
Dont worry, you havent descovered a gold mine. I appreciate the effort put into these shorts considering the time they are made, but the early cartoons are pretty lame and unoriginal, Bosko is basically a human version of Mickey Mouse. If Looney Tunes hadnt changed through the years, it wouldnt survive as a series and would not become the great cartoons we know today.
@@alex9920ro That’s just because some of the people involved used to work for Disney and had a rivalry with him And even with that they evolved to be different from Mickey and Minnie over time
@Mr. Noisy I dont know....the drawing in cartoons during late 1920s to early 1930s were so lame and with so much lack of details, you cannot really tell.
@@dogg-paws I know that. I watched the interesting and stunning works of Walt Disney (Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphonies, especially the ones who actually had color) and Fleischer Brothers (Talkartoolns, Betty Boop and Popeye), but for Warner Bros and other cartoon studios, the early 1930s were pretty weak. The Golden Era of Looney Tunes started in mid to late 1930s when Tex Avery and Bob Clampett came around.
It must be the opposite. Bosko probably doesn’t last anymore because Disney tried to see Warner Brothers and why they replaced him with The Looney Tunes Characters That are still Here today.
The people who made this used to work for Disney and since he was a jerk to them there was a rivalry that never went away They were constantly trying to out do Disney to satisfy the grudge they held against him which held the characters from reaching their full potential There were plenty of cases of outright plagiarism Despite this they became characters in their own right later down the line
Used to see these in the mid-50's; glad these early sound/animation examples have been preserved.

They often plagiarized Disney’s work in an effort to out do him thanks to a rivalry that formed while they worked for him
