Shame Piggy and Fluffy weren't included when Buster and Babs Bunny ("No relation") met Foxy, Roxy, and Goopy Geer in the Tiny Toon Adventures episode 'Two Tone Town'.
Oh you don't know what you're doin' Or the mean things that you're doin' Or you wouldn't be doin' what y'er doin' to me. Oh you don't know what you're sayin' When you say that you were playin', Or you wouldn't be sayin' you were playin' with me.
This was probably one of if not the best music score that Frank Marsales did for Ising/Harman. Warner Bros. had no animation studio at the time. Ising/Harman made the shorts for Warner Bros. at their studio. In 1933, after they left, Leon Schlesinger began his own studio for Warner Bros. In fact, Leon had to talk Ising and Harman into giving him the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies name.
My dear furry friend, I can assure you that I am nothing more than an old furry wierdo. I have pretty much run on an eccentric line for as long as i can recall. Music animation Furries and furry art are but a few of my passions. Conformist?? I don't think so
You never treat me right, oh every night I'm alone. You don't even phone; no wonder I'm sighin', cryin' You're driving me to ruin, Well you don't know what you're doin' Or you wouldn't be doin' what y'er doin' to me !
Warner Bros. did something no other animation studio did. They took the musical score and synced the animation with it. This would lead to some of the most memorable scenes in animation history. One of my favorite examples are at 5:33.
Unbelievably catchy, old, musical cartoon.
I love how Piggy apparently just up and abandons his girlfriend at the concert.
We see those ASBESTOS curtains in old cartoons long before anyone knew about mesothelioma ... Wow! ♣
My favorite cartoon of all time.

funny part is that 1931 was a prohibition year. And the cartoon depicts drunk driving
Beautifully restored.

It's kinda funny they made a cartoon about drunk driving in 1931, during the prohibition
Love the fact that it's HD.
Top shelf musical arrangement by Frank Marsales! And love the "rubber hose" style of the animation. First class old school cartoon

Love when the Hoosier Hotshots do that tune!
Billy Scribbles There is a serious lack of wit and humor in modern music today. We need more Homer&Jethro and less Puffy & J lo.

This is where the yabbity yabbity sound comes from.

The huge doorman guy might be a reference to FW Murnau's "The Last Laugh".
