Yup it was a surprise for jinho, there’s this video the one before the stage/ the last rehearsal before the stage, the staff make jinho do the interview first (to keep him away) and then the rest of pentagon rehearse again with the video in the middle since they couldn’t rehearse it with jinho there. I think because they play well together, is what makes them THAT good. A performance is not just about difficult choreo, great vocals & intense facial expressions. It's ALSO about creating a connection with the audience. What's different about Pentagon, is they want US to have fun with THEM too. That's why they're so refreshing. Also, they are always themselves no matter what.

I just started getting into pentagon... ik im rly late... but the amount of emotion put in that live literally made me ball and i don't even know them. I love how happy they seemed and how much they loved each other. This dance practice just made me see how much personality they put into their performances and im here for all of it. STAN PENTAGON!!!
I recommend watching their behind the scenes(pentory), interview film, or reality shows like spring story and forest to further see their beautiful bonds. They love each other so much and it shows in everything that they do.
i haven't seen pentagon getting a lot of support but honestly their performances are just incredible. they don't really use stunts or anything but man they have such commanding stage presences... that and i don't think any other group in this comp can pull off goofy and fun the way ptg do
I love how in this dance practice they are all smiley and laughing, it's sad that Jinho enlisted without us being able to get a first win but Pentagon over the years have achieved many great things worth celebrating like always releasing amazing songs, going on a world tour, Shine being the bop of the year in 2018 and more. Being a Universe has been a joyful experience so far and I'm so proud to support Pentagon who shines bright always.

I love how in this dance practice they are all smiley and laughing, it's sad that Jinho enlisted without us being able to get a first win but Pentagon over the years have achieved many great things worth celebrating like always releasing amazing songs, going on a world tour, Shine being the bop of the year in 2018 and more.
