- Here in the Sonic franchise all we can ever do is look back! There's no time to look to the future when there's so many cyclical arguments to be had about quill length! So, we figured we'd delve back into the one and only game that has Sonic at both quill lengths. Dear god, what did I just type, this is so sad.

Sonic boss fights have always been so unengaging and simple. And the moment they tried to steer away from that those fights ended up sucking so bad.
I never knew Stephen had such bad blood with Knuckles.

20:25 Speaking of CD, the way this phase looks reminds me of Final Fever a lot.
I like these missions. I liked the old missions of Secret Rings and Black Knight and Unwiished too but these are notably better. It's nice to have more tat to do, and especially with rewards to make it worth your time.
I don't dislike level reusage, I'd like it to be transformative and to go to more of the places and explore more. I think it'd be cool to go to the wreckage of old zones. I've probably commented this before. Maybe not or maybe so under one of your videos. Probably so. But my vision is a stormy, flooded Panic Puppet zone with constant electrical hazards and half-working broken machinery. Or the wreckage of Final Fortress or the Egg Fleet. We had Eggman trying to resurrect the Death Egg before, interrupting a construction project on getting the Egg Fleet to fly again by blowing it up halfway would be super cool. Or the Ark was in dire straits in Shadow, collapsing, maybe something about the final Eclipse Cannon use could have left it to finally critically fail and crumple in half, so there's a mission to board it while it's slowly but steadily falling and trigger explosions in key areas to destroy it enough to burn up on atmospheric entry.
I managed to do the Switch version. My key to it was to do the simple low stupid not the go high do tech thing more than you'd like but also not completely, but mostly. Or maybe it was completely. Don't remember fully.
It was called Kanto in the Japanese version
So...should everyone be demanding refunds from Sonic Team for not including any levels in Forces?
My first experience with Metal Sonic was Neo Metal Sonic. I thought it was the same as Mecha Sonic, too, just reinterpreted for Heroes. I was confused when the tall cool edgy robot turned into the silly tiny robot of Metal Sonic. Neo is much cooler. Especially in the darker lighting.
So... Is Smoovies also your short King too?
