Thanks for the video Brian! I’ve never really been able to wrap my brain around side-scan images. This side-by-side comparison helped me understand it a little better. Thanks!
I just got livescope and I have tried to get my screen as sharps as yours and it’s tough. You got it so clear that I can see your line as well as you jigs🤦🏾♂️ . Im learning that asking for someone settings won’t really help because it’s base on water clarity. Your the man 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Just got my wires pulled for my transducer on a new boat. I will mount the transducer on my Stern Saver block tomorrow. Love all the Garmin content. I got the Garmin Echo 93sv for Christmas. My Mako 18 LTS came after a 5 month wait. So excited to get out and fish for crappie n bass locally central Texas and then go to Port o Conner Texas in mid March. Just stoked to get out instead of watching RUclips. Appreciate your honest content for folks like me.
Wow! That's encouraging to see them moving into some shallower water. Of course, this next storm system coming in Wed. night and Thursday might chase em back out. But, looking forward to the spring bite. Thanks for what you do man.
I’m putting my specialty pole together now. When I attach my extension, cone and handle the screws protrude inside the Dow rod. I would think my transducer cable will wear or cut by the screws. Am I missing something? Their new small ram mount seems like a breeze to zero mount the transducer. I like the quick disconnect from the down rod with this mount. I hope to be able to use this transducer on my kayak and ice fishing as well. I will buy a shorter pole for those applications. I purchased two rail mounts and sub plates. One for the bow and one for the console. The 12 inch plate is a magnetic plate. Your video was spot on for this option. Thanks!
Your settings always help me out, I may have to tweak something but always get me close to the best picture! 👊🏼 You have an extra Stowaway mount you wanna sell me?!? They’re out of stock!
Great video. I’m mainly into bass fishing but may have to get into crappie soon. Installing livescope on my Nitro this weekend with two new Garmin units. Curious if you would tell me where you’re located in Kansas? Is this on Cheney lake?
Wanted to let know those big crappie like to hang out on the muddy flats. Because the sun heats it up. Those slabs tend to be out of the brush piles. But I think you know this idk lol 😆
Great video as always, and I apologize if this has been asked before. Do you use the Garmin App? It has Active Captain on it, and it will record what you see on the LiveScope screen to your phone. , Then you could edit to your final video. You wouldn't have to worry about glare, and not use the GoPro at all. Works great!
The Helm feature is not compatible with Echomap units. It’s easier for me to use two GoPros because I can sync the audio better. However I do have Garmin sending me a GPSmap unit this year, which is compatible with the Helm feature of Active Captain to screen record.
So I bought the See Lite mount. Lookin to buy the Force trolling motor next. Why is Garmin not putting one on your boat and you telling me why I need one!!!
@@hanjodoll6831 IMO having two separate hot buttons with different setups would be the best use of the single screen. One shortcut could be map/Side/Down or 2d/side/down and then another button would be full screen Livescope. Having sonar and Livescope on the same screen would only be beneficial if you are moving. If you are not moving, the regular sonar/imaging is obsolete compared to Livescope
Thanks for the side/down view review and reminder about Zoom. I see that your gain was still at 67. I was thinking you bumped it up having color gain now. I tried your settings for the first time this past weekend and I'm undecided if the color gain is a big advantage. Time will tell. 👊
No, it's impossible to believe, & never happens. Fish are now programmed to not react unless there is a digital/electronic presence in their area. If you ain't got all the latest toys you're screwed, they just ain't gonna play ball! 🤪
With livescopes starting around 1300.00 dollars, mount around 150.00, that is why most guys are using artificial baits since the added expense of live bait/fuel and other costs just makes it expensive to go fishing!!!. Keep on snagging, because that is all your doing!!. Fish like a real man, like your ancestors!!
Should be saying, "Going on a day of snagging using Garmin Electronics. Hope the state put's in alot of tree's so everyone gets a change to catch fish!!!
@@KansasAnglingExperience You can only eat so many fish taco's, maybe if you give some to the homeless, at least they could eat for a day and that includes homeless children.
Thank You for another great video.
You do the best livescope videos on RUclips.

Can’t really speak for any other pole mount besides SeeLite.
Fantastic video! Looking forward to ice off here, can’t wait to get on the boat!
Congratulations on 20,000 subs!
Have to love that live scope. Nice fish.
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to our trip this spring!

I used your batter system from your other video. It is working great! Thank you for sharing sensei.

Great vid bruh, sackin em!
Does your trolling motor ever get in the path of your Livescope beam
Nope. Because I fish off the right side of the bow.
Here in oklahoma the bite has been on 🔥 lately.
Thank you for the very good video.
Where do you fish in wisc?
I'm near Madison
Green Bay/Door County
Is that livescope plus or the 32 transducer

Nah, not Cheney. East Kansas. I only really crappie fish when I have to in the winter. Otherwise I’m mainly gamefish.
@@KansasAnglingExperience well you make it look easy. Lol! Keep the videos up. They are awesome to watch.
great video, well behaved dogs ,hope valentine's day was good to ya, stay safe and FISH-ON MICK
What is your settings on you LS? I can't get mine to look that good, and do you have the latest update?
Check out my Garmin playlist for settings videos, and yes I have. Love it!

Great video brother. I have just started using live scope and am hearing a lot of negative feedback on the update. Have you performed the update .

So I bought the See Lite mount. Lookin to buy the Force trolling motor next. Why is Garmin not putting one on your boat and you telling me why I need one!!!
Because the longest shaft they make isn’t long enough. Once they come out with a 60”+ I’ll have one.
@@KansasAnglingExperience That's unfortunate for us both. I'd love to hear your thoughts before buying one.
Hi, is it possible to have side view, down view and livescope all hooked up to one Ecosounder and have them displayed on the screen simultaneously?
I am pretty sure there is, depending on the unit you have, but why would you want to do that?
I only have one Garmin Eco on my fishing boat and would like to use it to its fullest potential.
Pretty easy. Just create the combo screen on your unit with all of those.
Thank a lot!

Looks like you had the trail turned on, is it slow, medium or fast trail do you usually set up?
I don’t have trails turned on.
What battery are you using for your live scope
Dewalt lithium drill batteries.
Great video as usual, what fishing app do you use such as Fishbrain etc.?? Also do you ever bring your services to other cities and lakes?
No, I don’t use FishBrain. And no, I’m local to the northeast Kansas area.
Why can't I get the same picture as you getting on your garmin.
What's your thoughts on the new Garmin update color limit.
Love it: ruclips.net/video/gDxbakThaxg/видео.html
