next time you tear up your bottom jig try sending it down with just one plastic on top and nothing on the bottom jig. you will really impress your clients. it works!
Love your videos for crappie and whites. I took the chance and bought a carbon x II 1000 with fox river 6’6”mL and fell in love so much I have switched all my spinning setups to the 2000 and 3000 with fox river rods. The reels have the best drag system I have ever used for a spinning reel.
That was some serious YANKIE! Just ordered the rod and reel you use, thanks for the discounts! In process of getting my tri-toon rigged with my new Garmin 93SV with Livescope and new Terrova. Your videos have got me primed to go catch me some Crappies and Wipers here on Lake Conroe! Thanks!😎
Treble hook and foul hook em lol. Been watching u for years. Love everything about ya. Been there since u and CK were sharing the new live scope technology. Miss crappie fishing
Love the video. Been whacking them on Kentucky lake, but fishing stake beds. Have seen these schools but never tried picking on them. Going to try it. Seems like you were pretty much staying in one area though. School was relating to a point??
What an inspiration! A great video and could talk all day about the dream your living. Do I want to become a guide? No you young guys can put up with people better than I, I just want to catch fish with my kids when I go. Nothing worse than not catching any when you go out. Any how, I've taken your suggestions on the graphs(Garmin) now working my way up to the trolling motor(bow mount) and panoptix. My question for the week is: On your second SeeLite mount on back port side(or is that a rod holder) do you repurpose your old 32LVS so your clients can "see" back there? Whoops, one more, trolling motor, would you suggest one that would not break the bank but would be useful for several years? Thanks again and God Bless.
What do you recommend as far as a late spring and summer pattern? I’m pretty familiar with the winter pattern. As far as the Crappie schooling up in the river channels but as far as summer goes is that when you really want to target your deeper brush piles, I assume?
Are the crappie schooled like this in the summer as well? Do you target them in the river channel as well in the summer or your fishing coves or something else? Thanks for the very informative videos!
If I found a school like that on my LiveScope You would Hear me All the way to Kansas 😂😂,, I find some but I've never seen em stacked like that Down here, nope
I wanted to ask, if I'm not going to record any livescope, is the echomap ultra 12sv just as good as the GPS map 12in screen one. I have the 9in echomap on the front for livescope now but looking to get two screens, so I can have a dedicated screen for mapping and a dedicated one for livescope like you have.
126sv is a great unit for LS but still kind of pales in comparison to the GPSMap as far as pixels/image quality. Can’t say it’s just as good, but still great
@@KansasAnglingExperience Why is that out of curiosity? I have heard this a few times. Isn't the 126sv 1280x800 resolution which would be the same resolution as the GPSMap? You would think the big difference is when you bump to the 8600 series.
@@Hangin_With_My_Gnomies it’s true, but running two livescopes both on the GPSMap and 126 I can visually see a better image. Maybe it’s the glass screen on the GPSMap?

You make the best Livescope crappie videos on RUclips !! Others could learn from you. Great video!!
YOU JUZ KEEP ON MAKEN VIDEO'S ...I LEARN ALOT WATCHN YOU WORK THAT LIVESCOPE!!
Hi
What’s the big Garmin up front?
I see you have 3
Thanks
I run four graphs. Three Echomap ultra 126s and the big Livescope unit is a GPSMap 8616.
spray some wd 40 on your trolling motor shaft and it will keep it from freezing.
I can not find schools like that for the life of me! Great video as always!! Absolutely the best live scope vids!

great video can you do a video on how to put the active captain video on the go pro video are tell where to look thank you to do that
Wow most all our river channels in Georgia are 35-65 ft deep, I am not sure that the crappie around here is in the same pattern.😊
Likely not
My favorite type of school! Thanks for the video!
Good Video! Can't wait to get my livescope rigged up for spring

Thanks bud!
I was wondering how you mount your phone to video your LiveScope Screen?
Looking good just a little chilly
Thanks brother you answered so many questions I had in first few minutes. What’s is the key in locating crappie in the summer time?
Not sure bud, Crappie in the summer aren’t my thing. A lot of guys fish standing timber though. 🤷🏻♂️

River channel
Really enjoy your content!
Love your boat!
You’ll love the new one even more 😛
Do you need current in the cove to attract the bait? My favorite reservoir has several dead end coves and no inflow.
I’m not fishing coves. This is main lake river channel.
awesome video !!!
I think I’m going to try that 2000 carbon x
No reason not to!
I like your short split handle rod. What make is it? Great video

Thanks: sold out of the 6’2” UL. Would really like to try one

Dunno, I don’t care to target them in the summer. Only fish for them in the winter.
Am I losing it? I saw this video a few days ago I swear lol. Either way great content man.
What knot do you use for top jig to keep it horizontal?
Palomar
Great video what brand is the mount stand and does it fold down
Stowaway. Yes. Link is in description.
Awesome man love your videos.
You ever fished Truman Lake or Stockton lake in southern Missouri?
Fished both during bass tournaments in the past, never crappie. Wouldn’t travel that far for a crappie 😂
Do you still have the sunglasses promo code? What frames are those

I don’t target crappie at all in the summer. This is just their winter pattern. Summer they’re just out roaming around the timber.
Does that sealite pole flex or shake when you’re trolling with it down?
Nope. You can troll up to 4mph with no flex.

You say you look for the channel and that looks great but is your channels only 20ft deep? Also what is your water temp?
Depends on the area of the channel. Some are 20, some are 30, some are 40+. Water temp is 32-34.
