Excellent production quality and GREAT subject matter. Job well done. I fish those flats regularly and now I understand the oystermen much better. Thanks !
Ted and Helen, What a great video. Phil and his his hard working crew are the people who make you feel good about being an American. Especially if you live in Yankeetown ! Now I’m ready for some Elvis Presley Presidential oysters. Yum Yum !
It's October 9th. The hurricane is heading your way. I haven't heard from you in a while and I'm hoping and praying that you two are hunkered down and safe. I'm with you. 😊
liked the pan to show the nuke power plant, living in Oregon, understand the hanford effect on the local ecosystem. netarts has pretty good oysters as well
As of 2013 the facility is being decommissioned, a process expected to last 60 years.[2][3] The power plant was completed and licensed to operate in December 1976, and operated safely for 33 years until shutdown in September 2009.
In here you could do it as well but you have to go past the reefs at night to get to the best places and then wait for the sunrise. They have tried it couple of times, but it consumes too much time and energy.
Come down to New Zealand and try Bluff oysters, they are the best in the world. Thanks for the video, very nice to see some traditional oyster catching.
We both film with Canon 90D. It was cheapest good autofocus 4K camera. Ted has his old Canon 5D mark II and 7D which are so amazing much more cinematic but in documentary you cannot have time to pull focus. We used as well gopros (underwater shots and artistic action shots) and DJI mini for action shots and scenics. We hope to upgrade in some point in the future for more sturdier 4 K drone. And gopros just quit working. Thanks, Helena
These are one of our favorite Oysters we ever tasted and Phillip is a great guy!:) We have been eating so many of them that we built a small oyster 🦪 reef:)

@@SailingLiberty See you in May!
I was literally salivating looking at that 😋
I grew up as a Pacific oyster harvester. We could harvest when exposed by the tide

Freaking awsome!
You need two drops of lime to make them just right..
I like oysters either with lime or lemon and/or black pepper. Recommend to try with black pepper, it is very interesting:)
Oysters anyone?
