Very helpful. Is there a special reason that you fitted the Copper extension piece? I also noticed that you didn't had to remove the tank, contrary to other videos about BMW battery change.

@@FrogsAngelsLondon Hello sir, Why do you use a copper bit ? Please let us know. Thank you. Greetings from Holland.

@@ZeevGoldberg I use the copper extension for a jump start. If I have a flat battery It is just easier to reach the extension with large crocodile clips. Copper is obviously a great conductor of electricity but you can use other pieces of metal if you want to.

The positive should be isolated. You have created a risk of shortcut now.

How? Impossible. He removed negative 1st and installed it last. Then no complete circuit even if positive touches frame. Learn your circuits 1st. By the way short-circuit not shortcut you derp

Anyone replaced it with a lithium battery yet?

Yes, i went for a LFP16 12 volt 60 Wh Lithium LiFePO4 battery. This battery has EN CCA 300. This is enough to start the 1100cc engine.

Strange... I followed your example to the letter -- My side fairing didnt just magically remove itself when I pulled the airbox lid.
I'm thinking that if you are going to create a howto video that you need to include all of the steps. I'll never get those 2 minutes back... now over to Chris Harris' page to see how a professional does this job

Never trust anyone! I am not here to tell you what to do or how to do it. This video is about my experience in dealing with the maintenance of my bike. So far, I am happy with it. For the maintenance of your own bike, please refer to your BMW Service Manual or If you can't do the job yourself, leave it to a professional. That's my best advice. Wishing you all the best mate...

      @@FrogsAngelsLondon My mistake.
I thought that you were making how to videos. I didn't realize that you were just documenting your hobby.
