I think your hairline looks amazing…..look at it as much as you want to! It’s a blessing to have overcome something that is so devastating for a woman
Beautiful Mateyena!. Thank you for the updates and for letting us know the pros and cons of a hair transplant ..
Thank you so much for watching.
I appreciate you sharing continued info in regard to your hair, all in all I'm still happy for you and your growth.
Thank you so much 🤗
Beautiful Queen that you are, thank you for sharing your hair transplant journey. Your crown looks phenomenal! You are entitled to feel EVERYTHING you are feeling, as this was a HUGE, personal transformation which was not only physical, but emotional as well. Ignorant comments, awkward stares and unsolicited advice like slaying some damn edges are inevitable, but you just keep right on shining and sharing and healing! You are truly a gem.💎
Thank you so much for the encouragement.
@@Mateyena you are welcome💕
I got mine yesterday and your videos have been my saving grace. My panic and anxiety would have led me to cancel everything so I'm blessed to have found you and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING AND HAVE DONE!
Thank you so much
@@Mateyena How's the hair transplant? I get mine Friday?
Thank you so much for sharing & being so transparent about your story. ❤️ I think it’s completely fine to give yourself look when you pass a mirror as not everyone will tell you there’s something in your hair or on your face etc…
You have a sweet spirit & I look forward to seeing more of your videos.🌹
Thank you so much!!
I’m so glad I found your video. I have CCCA Alopecia. It has ruined my confidence totally. I’ve always had full hair, I’m so devastated. I cry every time I look in the mirror. I’m definitely going to get the procedure done. Thanks for this video! 💜
Did you get it done?
I like you. So real. Thank you for being open and vulnerable here. Currently bingeing all your vids.
You are so welcome
I love this video and I love you. Thank you so much for sharing. I've decided I want to do the same but it's so hard finding other women with similar hair that have gone through and documented their experience.
You are amazing, stunning and a positive spirit radiates from you. Your gracious responses to negative comments impresses me to no end.
Keep being you x
Thank you so much for these beautiful words, I will not let the negative comments get to me.
I would never had known if you hadn’t said anything. Maybe people are starring only because they watched your video. But it looks absolutely amazing!!
Thank you, I am thinking about getting the surgery and that is one thing I think about. I feel that I will still need to be careful and gentle with my edges because I wouldn't want to lose them again. I won't be pulling my hair back tightly or over handling or manipulating them. I certainly won't be laying them. It's funny stylists see my thin edges and still want to gel, brush roughly and over handle them. I have to tell them to leave as is, and I put a little oil and brush lightly myself.
I personally like natural edges. Laying the edges down constantly begins to thin the hairline.your hair looks lovely. Thanks for sharing your experience with us ❤
Thanks for watching!
It’s all a matter of getting used to it. As you say, you’re still check your hairline and when you wash your face. Everyone’s adjusting to your new look. As time progress, it eventually will be a memory. So it okay to have those feelings, it will get better.
Thank you so much of watching.
I was about to say the same thing...dont mind so much hon. Its human nature to be curious and we are all adjusting plus most of us have never met anyone with hair transplant.
This is why I wanted to share all my experience to help to help others out there because there was very little information when I was searching.
@@Mateyena Did you blow dry your hair before getting the transplant?
@@amj8874 Yes I did, and I have a video on it. ruclips.net/video/JkfsaoiwAos/видео.html
Freaking BEAUTIFUL inside and out! You just GLOW girl, and if I didn't hear you talk about a transplant in this video, I would have never known! I've had TA since early childhood and I can't wait for the day I'm looking at a full head of hair in the mirror! We are our own worst critics, but as a complete stranger, who doesn't even follow you, and just stumbled on your page, YOU ROCK THAT NATURAL LOOK! I'm debating on the surgery now, and would very much like to email you about it. May I do so?
Thank you so much for watching, you are more than welcome to email me my email should be in the descriptions box.
Thank you for being real !!
Thank you
Great video. Thx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I still love your hair! And that make up!😍
Lol Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing that.. Where did you do your transplant ?
Yes girl!! I walk around with bushy edges when people drop their "suggestions" I just tell them nah my edges like to be free like me.
yes lets free those edges, lol
Natural looking edges are perfectly acceptable too. Laying edges is a choice like every other hairstyle. Do you! 😊
I agree it should be a choice and not a must for everyone.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience so tranparently❤ i've been following you for a years hoping to get it done with the same clinic. You look beautiful queen and are inspiring. In all my research, i've been impressed with Natural Hair Transplants results and I LOVE that there are so many black women sharing their beautiful results. One question, how did you style your hair while the hairline was growing? I don't want to cut my hair.
6:14 - 6:32 👏🏾 get em together girl! You're hair is beautiful! These are some of the same kind of ppl that use to tease the young Gymnast Gabby.
what they did to Gabby was ridiculous.
People are just Jealous. Queen keep shinning .They only look because they want to be shimmering like you. Stay blessed and highly favored 👑🙏
Thank you so much for your kind words.
@@Mateyena 💙💙💙💙
I love your hair. Those who are laying and snatching their edges now, maybe looking for a hair transplant specialist later
Your hair looks amazing. Where did you go ? Is the Dr that performed the procedure still there? Don't worry about the people looking at your hair line lol . They're trying to see if it's a weave. You look beautiful 💖
Your hair is beautiful and u dont have to lay your edges if you dont want to some pople do it every day and then their hair start's thining so your right dont mes to much with it ❤ it looks really good
Thank you
I think of all the 7 things you have said....the only thing concerning is the bumps, all the other 6 is just your own fear or things you are not getting use to. When someone read the caption, it like the negative thing about the transplant. I think your after looks way much better than before and besides you showed your journey so definitely if i see you in person, i will want to look even after 10years.
You look absolutely beautiful. This video was very helpful.
Thank you
It looks great! How many follicle units did you have transferred?
I got 5200 hair implanted my doctor did it by hair not by graft.
Thank you for this video! How long did you have to wait before you could deep condition / wear scarfs and protective style?
2 weeks
Glad you love your "messy" edges!
Thanks for watching
Honey, if I ever have edges again, I'll be wearing them as messy as they can be as well, lol. I plan to have this procedure, thanks to her 🤗
@@Boobalopbop I had one done 2 days ago! Its been so good to have her videos to watch :)
@@JB-nw1ix where did you get it done?
@@shirleya662 I am in the uk and got mine done here. I can send you the details to your business email if you want to know more :)
Your hair looks great!!
Thank you so much
@@Mateyena Your welcome.
@@Mateyena What Doctor would you personally recommend? Also the clinic? Fort Lauderdale or DC?
I don't lay my edges. They might tell you that cause they want them to break off again, it's something to think about. I always comb my edges together with the rest of my hair, I don't separate them so all my hair grows together. I think your hair looks amazing.
I like to wear my edges natural as well. I tried to "lay" my edges and it didn't work for me. Back in the 80's they used to clown the girls that had baby hair gelled down. Now people like it. To each his/her own 🤷
Thanks for sharing,
I think natural edges looks amazing on you. It looks...well..natural.
Thank you
Hello please can i use a black castol oil on the transplant area after a 20 days?
Hey,I'm planning to do on August, where did you do your transplant.
Beautiful how much does it cost and where I need it
I love your hair and you are beautiful just as God intended. It’s good that you’re validating your feelings and know that you are stronger than you think by simply sharing your feelings with us viewers. What you’re feeling is normal. This happens with any major change in our lives it will go away eventually. Just remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, so try not to allow fear to overtake your mind, actions, and soul. You are an overcomer covered by the blood of Jesus and He loves you.
Thank you so much for the support.
I think it looks great
Yaaaas girl you let them know that imitating the white hair pattern is what led to us loosing our edges in the first place so F***** that “lay your edges” mentally is nonsense 👏👏👏👏
Hey, thanks for sharing. Do you still braid your hair after the transplant?
Yes I do!
All of your issues with you hair transplant are personal issues. Your hair looks beautiful.
yes they are, but I share them any way as so many other women have personal issues as well. I know this because women all over the world have shared it with me.
Quick question: was it one treatment that you went through? One procedure, or multiple?
I am from the US, but I don't live in thr states, so I'm hoping to have it done during the next time I'm able to visit. I usually stay for 2 weeks, visiting my mom.
Also, I want to say thank you so much for doing these videos. You're right. It's next to impossible to find someone like you... A black woman who has done it and willing to share her experience. So thank you SO MUCH.
Thank you so much for watching my video, this is just one procedure for me, make sure you ask all questions to the doctor before you proceed
Hey if you haven’t gotten your surgery yet. Finically if you want to make it easier on yourself if you go to Turkey you will pay 1/6 the price that you would pay in the states! My wife had one done at Asli Tarcan clinic and hers turned out amazing and we paid 1700usd for the procedure. I had one done at hair of instanbul I’m 7 months in and I’m already satisfied.
@@Here4aLyfeTime hi I did it in Istanbul for one week
I had the same procedure and I also have the bumps around my hairline. I hope as time goes on they become less noticeable.
Thanks for watching.
Does the procedure hurt?
@@nikkipeoples9865 They injected the area with a numbing agent so that’s the only time I felt discomfort. However I wouldn’t recommend them because I still have the bumps around my hairline and it’s very noticeable. I am not pleased with that at all.
@@browneyez242 ah ok. I think I'm going to give PRF a chance first.

I have about the same hairline. Can you please tell me the price range they gave you please. If you are okay with disclosing what you paid that will know of this is a real option for me. Thank you and you look great!!
Please check the description box there is a video on the price linked.
Did you bruise when you had your surgery like on hit eyes and face? And did the bruising affect your eyesight?
I did not experience any bruising or swelling.
You are beautiful and your hair is gorgeous!!! It looks healthy and vibrant. Can I get the name of your Dr? He did an excellent job.
Thank you so much, I went to Matt Huebner his info is in the description box.
@@Mateyena Okay. Thank you. I am going to investigate and make an appointment. I hope my results come out as good as yours did.
I dont lay edges either smh I personally feel that's for little girls and tbh it's not for everyone so they need to leave you alone dread
Laid edges with all swirls just doesn't look right on everyone.
Mateyena It really doesn’t on grown folks.
I am so over them!
Facts smh
You look great!! Me personally, think that laid edges are for the much younger generation meaning teenagers to early 20s. Just my personal opinion. I do not think that grown sophisticated women need to lay their edges. Personal preference😊 to each his own.
This makes so much sense after a certain age laid edges doesnt look right any more, this comment made me imagine Michelle Obama with laid edges it is a no no, lmao.
Mateyena lol lol. Again no no no no no lol. 😊
How did you remove the scabs?
they fell off with every wash
Where did you go ?
I’m nervous I seen a lot of good reviews but bad ones as well
I have an appointment with surgeon for a hair transplant. I have androgenic alopecia and praying it works for me. I would hate spend all that money for nothing..
Congrats on your upcoming procedure, and stay positive.
When is your surgery?
@@ash86marie i have a consultation with the surgeon on 9/22/20
Are you under anesthesia when they do this treatment?
just local anesthesia I am awake the whole time.
I think it’s normal to keep looking in the mirror. I have alopecia and I am constantly looking even after it grows back.
it is hard not to look.
I'm so scared to get mines
Don’t be
❤️
Who did you got to for your hair transplant?
It is in the description box
@@Mateyena thank you. I didn't push the "show more" part in the description box to see everything before.
I was thinking getting hair transplant but the fact that they open the head and make stitches scare me. How about if the person bleed to death or there is internal bleeding or infection. I keep postponing almost 12 years. and I am not happy with being bold either I am a young beautiful women. i can not date I feel inadequate.
They have different techniques now and not all of them require stitches but I did this one because based on my research it was the best for my very tight kinky hair.
@@Mateyena Thank you. Any risk factors please. my hair is very curly as well. By the way I am a nurse and I can not take more than a week off from the hospital.
Omg u're beautiful 😍😭

Hi Matayena. How was your healing process? I just got mine done 2 days ago I wonder if I could message u about your initial healing process?
Hi! Did you also go to Natural Transplants? How was your process? I’ve been trying to find the right place to go to for mine.
Mari P. Yes I did. It’s healing well but I will be honest, I was in a lot of pain, surprisingly. I took almost all the pain meds I was prescribed. I’m in good spirits.

has the transplanted hair grown longer on does it stay short? Can you do I video about the length of your transplanted hair 2 years post op? I'm thinking about doing a transplant where you did yours. With love from England. p.s I love you hair
It is growing longer.
Overall, it sounds like you'd benefit greatly from counseling

These are minor issues. The result is excellent, why complain?
I am not complaining, I am sharing my experience and the emotions that came with the experience. Others even do feel worst after the procedure.
You are absolutely entitled to share your experience but this title can be misleading. 7 things I personally developed that has nothing to do with the credibility of the company used. You understand the difference? It just seems like you've become obsessed with the opinions of others.
Lol your hair is in a natural state🙄
Why the hell would you lay your edges? Smh
People are annoying
laid edges doesn't look right on me
@@Mateyena yes and it works for you hun 🤎
Waste of time
Why waste even more time commenting? Move on to the next.
You get upset over the wrong things which is annoying to me.
I am not upset, I am sharing what I already experienced, I wish there was a black woman sharing all of this before I had my hair transplant. But there wasn't so I am sharing my experience for others, but sadly It is not appreciated by some.
That lipstick doesn't you suit you. But red would be soo exotic on those beautiful lips (;
