the purle color in the water from the second artist, is just he uses colors as lights and shadows in the greyscale, noone understand how it works but if u color these images in the grey pattern u unederstood what is so spezial about that, (goethes color theory )
REEEEEALLY THANK YOUUUU!!!! I was searching for the person who did all the anime characters of something for like a reaaaally amount of time!!!! He's an inspiration for my doodles for a looong time, but now i can give him the credits (I never post, but now I can talk to my friends about his artstyle). Also nice job!! The video is well edited and showed me a lot of wonderful artists that I didn't now at all
Yes, but sadly I saw it only after I rendered the scene which took me around 30h so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, but I'll fix that in the next part, so subscribe
this video isnt making any valid points against a.i tough , tese are a bunch of weeb artist or are good at what they do but at the end of the day they are just inspiring themselves from what they see in the real world , the same way a.i does
Maybe he didn't explicitly point this out, but I think the strongest case he makes against modern text-to-image AI models is how they can't replicate the concepts or detail these artists excel at. Zoom in on any AI image that attempts replicate anything like these styles and they're rife with mistakes and odd AI artifacts. Meanwhile, these artists use insane details to craft beautiful pieces that get *better* the longer/closer you look. I love that he included Rino Tuna as I think his artwork is a perfect example of this. Don't get me wrong: I appreciate AI art for what it can create and inspire at face value, but the generative models we have today would never develop a novel style or usher in a new art movement. Only human artists can do that (at least for now).
@Ototo147 yes at least for now, it's just the question of time. But what I hate about ai art is that people use it saying that they are better than the real artist because they can create anything they want and with no effort. And also I don't really like the fact that someone is making money by generating pictures with AI model that was trained on real art by real artists.
@Maikeruartjp Agreed 100%. That's why I appreciate you making this video. Subscribed. Companies only use AI right now because it's still not seen as cheap and lazy. In reality, they're only using it to cut corners with legally dubious methods that are arguably unethical. All so they can enjoy the benefits of actual artists without having to pay them. This wouldn't be the case if people were more critical about the art/media they consume. And even better, your video shows just how *fun* analyzing good art can be.

AI aggregates data and spits out the average as a form of mediocre internet soup.
